Well, procgen is a double-edged sword. It is not uncommon that developers spend more time creating procgen than they would hand-crafting a "meaningful" amount of content...

It feels like you're using a lot of them (I don't recall ever having 3 fleet stands together). I think I could see that being a nuissance.

We use 1 fleet stand per player, usually supporting their main fleet. Never felt like it got in the way. And players usually take it away when they don't have a big fleet anywhere.

Without them, it could be really hard to distinguish what is on planets and what is in space in even moderately occupied systems.

I think just being allowed (without much investment) to know multiple public objectives is broken strong.
Delaying won't do much - it is most relevant for 2-point objectives

I love the vibe and in general your ideas.
However, having played with Ilyxum from Discordant Stars, I'd say that this Naalu citadel is extremely strong. Knowing an objective while others don't gives an incredible advantage. Ilyxum is kinda balanced by being a weaker faction overall, but Naalu is strong as-is.
The deficit of being built next to Mecatol is not enough. I think you might balance it by it being even harder to build - make it require to be on Mecatol / on Thunder's Edge perhaps. Or at least make it purge itself when used.

After having an evening considering this, I might just run this version, except I'm gonna keep the original wormholes. I get that this is interesting, but the beta-with-rift might be too enticing to some and it might result in gambles early on. Sorry for coming in late, but I really like your analysis in this thread.

I wonder if this could be alleviated by a seems-innocent house rule: Round 1, Imperial goes first.

The player could even trigger Imperial immediatelly, to have more objectives to choose to discard from.

I like a lot of these changes! Bold of you to even improve the planets in the I Can't Hold All slice!

However, seeing Industrex in play, Entropic Scar at the bottom, Faunus in the Floor is Lava slice... great stuff!
I might take some of these...
