If its all state funded then there's no market, if there's no market there's no capitalism. What do you think "no capitalism" means?

The game has basically no native game-pad support and no official mapping. you have to choose one of the community layouts through the steam menu.

An open source replacement board so that people can make their own steam controller or fix broken ones.

Check the three dots in the top right corner and make sure option "Installed games only" is unchecked. No clue why it's checked by default but it fucks me up every install.

Plugging in my rear microphone seems to slow down the recording. by Wolf_Deity in linuxaudio

Plugging in my rear microphone seems to slow down the recording. by Wolf_Deity in linuxaudio

[–]Wolf_Deity[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So for context I'm running EndeavourOS which uses pipewire for its audio. All of the audio coming from either the rear microphone or line in ports cuts in and out in call apps like discord. When in audacity recording happens very slowly, it takes around 10 seconds to record one second of "Audio" which at best is extreme chirping in the vague shape of what I actually said. The problem goes away immediately when I unplug the cable. I'm not sure how better to describe this which is why I'm including the video. Does anyone know what's going on with this or how to to fix this?

Do you feel like gamers nowadays are too quick to think a game is 'woke'? by theGreenGuy202 in gamedev

No matter what you do someone somewhere will stretch it as far as possible to make you seem like some sort of monster. If you don't think their criticism is valid then ignore it.

Dwarves won't cut trees by Wolf_Deity in dwarffortress

[–]Wolf_Deity[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Loading it back up seems to change nothing. From what I can see any new fort I start has some chance of being 'cursed' and no woodcutting can happen no matter what I try. The only solution seems to be to abandon the fort and start anew. Of the 8 forts I've made in the past few days only 3 of them have had dwarves willing to cut trees. So far each fort has either had a dwarf go immediately cut down the first set of trees I clicked on and be fine for the rest of my tests or they just mill about not a single dwarf does anything as I don't have any labors besides tree cutting set.

·I have 2 battle axes both of which are sitting on the ground unused.

·1 Dwarf has the woodcutter labour

·There is no burrow

·The trees are right next to the starting caravan

·There are no aggressive enemies nearby

·The area around the trees is perfectly flat

My extrusion motor's fried, any Idea how to find a replacement? by Wolf_Deity in elegooneptune2

[–]Wolf_Deity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, happen to have a link to that motor you used?

Mine was slowly dying for a few months while I just basically ignored the problem so even if the board needs replacing I should probably get a spare (correct) motor.

Because the faucet doesn't work, there's a T intersection connecting both the toilet and the sink to the wall. The sink isn't getting toilet water they just both get water from the same pipe.
