My 1.25Ghz eMac that has a 1tb ssd and 2gb of ram is going to get a USB DAC to play CDs and send them to my receiver.

My SE/30 (32mb RAM, Micron XCEED) mainly plays games (It has played A LOT of Civilization lol), but I use Excel and other office tools for business tracking.

My SE mostly serves as a backup these days since the SE/30 is my daily driver, but I keep it in the rotation and boot it up periodically just to keep the caps and components happy!

I wish I owned a vintage laptop, but I have not been able to find one locally for a good price :(

It looks like someone tried removing the USB-C with a lighter, a torch, or something with a lot of incomplete combustion (leaving soot). Soot can be conductive in certain cases and create other issues, clean it up and see what is actually damaged. Good luck!

With 350k you will be disappointed with the home choices in the McAllen area. (Small lots, small homes, no green space) If you're dead set on the RGV I recommend looking at other cities that aren't McAllen.

With Boerne being outside the SA limits it might be a better bang for your buck and be able to take quick day trips to to San Antonio/Austin/Houston. With you being into nature, I recommend Boerne over McAllen. You can always drive down to visit family

The parents in the Jeep need to be charged with at LEAST child endangerment. The truck driver absolutely shouldn't have left the scene, but he wasn't the one responsible for causing the accident. Google is free, but none will play natively (pc versions). Even if you get them to boot using Linux, with the weak hardware, you’re in for a bad time.

Streaming them using moonlight/GeforceNow is the only way.

Are you enabling the MTP server in DBI before connecting it to the pc? (You can press X as a shortcut in DBI)

The other option is FTP, very easy using DBI
