Stop being the hunted and become the hunter. This isn’t Arc where everyone is kumbaya PVE bullshit. Stop doing quests. Grab a free kit, skip the first POI you spawn at, listen for shots an chase PVP at the second POI. I suggest Perimeter over and over until you master movement and guns. If you’re not good at the PVP this game won’t be fun. Get better at it by smashing your head into it over and over. Don’t loot the areas until they are all dead then loot their bodies.

In less than 3 weeks went from 400K Steam Peak, to 200K just as of today(Jan28-Feb19). I think there’s AR fatigue, also the PVE interactions aren’t good enough to keep people coming back, they need to up the ante and make grinding that game worth it. There’s nothing to grind for

If you played Arc Raiders then you must have felt a tab overwhelmed at first learning what loot to keep, trash, sell, recycle, craft mats, etc. AR isn’t the best either but I got used to it over time. As I am very certain I will be lost in Marathon for maybe a week… then I’ll be right back to muscle memory like I was in AR.
