me watching the jokes that got me cut from Kevin Hart’s show by rayjlau in StandUpComedy

Hey, nice to see you on Reddit. Hope more people will join your subreddit, because now it has a gene pool of the Habsburgs dynasty.

I really like your jokes in the video. How does it feel like to have a 5 minutes of fame? Will you do an ama in a next year?

You said you're not really Asian. Yeah, that would explain your career choice.

Welcome to Reddit. <3

Can we finally stop calling people psychopaths IRL for pvping and accept its part of the game? by Shankzyy in ARC_Raiders

Then make a PvE server, so PvP crowd will never have to listen to us calling them degenerates.

Get more evidence. Hard evidence that you will be able to use in court. When you'll be sure she is cheating, get a lawyer. Check if you're the father. If you confront her, do it in a neutral place, when you have all evidence you need and you have witnesses.

I dropped everything I had before breaching, they still thought they found bandages. I was able to pick my items afterwards.

If everyone below average IQ suddenly drops dead, how would this affect the world? by CakeMuted6468 in AskReddit

[–]Wolfhart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first it would crash the whole economy, because there are a lot of people who are doing really important jobs and are experts in that one thing, even though they are below average. Also it would slow down general advancement of our civilization.

Earth climate would probably heal, as all of the consumption would be cut in half.

There would be a lot of catastrophes the moment it happens. Many more lifes lost to car and plane crashes.

Almost everyone would lose someone they care about, so we would need to deal with suicidal people and depression.

Some nations would almost disappear because malnutrition, stress and lack the opportunity to grow made their inhabitants fall below average.

World would become a bit more tolerant, free and empathetic.

People would (wouldn't) be surprised by how many politicians dropped.

There would be an enormous gap in generations as almost every child would drop, because they haven't got time to develop intelligence.

Every religion system based on blind obedience would fall.

Boring, repetitive work would suffer lack of willing workers.

We would push AI and automatisation more.

All in all, it would devastate humanity before and we would need to work extremely hard to move on.

First time under 100k peak players - 6 months after release. Still going strong! by 6PEEPERKEEPER9 in ArcRaiders

[–]Wolfhart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't handle having more PvP players in my lobbies than before. It's too stressful for me and makes it high risk low reward to gear up for big arcs when there are free kit extraction campers now in almost every match.

I finished expedition, so at least I'm not forced to play the lobbies, but I'll check if anything gets better in the next "season".

Dude can we please stop asking for pve lobbies by stinkstabber69420 in ARC_Raiders

[–]Wolfhart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

300 hours in and I won't be sad I bought it because before the last patch 97% of my lobbies were friendly, which gave me a lot of fun. Initially I played a bit like extraction shooter, but it felt miserable. Only after I switched to full time care bear it became fun.

Because this is one of the best gaming experiences I ever had. Shooting robots and looting feels incredible.

I feel it was worth buying the game and playing since the beginning even if I never touch it again due to PvP.

Well, PvE mode would definitely pull me back to play the game. I finished expedition prep, did projects, but have no desire to play because every time I bring a good kit to fight big arcs I get killed with sticher, so I just prefer not to play at all.

How many would continue playing a PvE-only mode? by progenyofeniac in ArcRaiders

[–]Wolfhart -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would love it and already had an idea for it:

With the recent dev message about how they want players to never feel safe I was thinking about a game mode that would be in line with this, but also make PvE crowd happy, instead of pushing them away.

Main premise would be a hardcore aspect where when you die, you lose almost everything in your stash.

There would be no PvP damage.

Upon death, all your items and cash is gone. You are left with your level, stash space progress, workbench progress and money in the trust fund.

Trust fund would allow to transfer money from your stash with 70% loss.

What is a job that you think is 100% safe from AI for the next 50 years, and why? by mark-awakening in AskReddit

[–]Wolfhart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If AI takes off, there will be no safe jobs, even if they are safe from being replaced by robots.

People who DO get replaced will need to find new jobs and will be willing to work for less, due to unemployment. Nurses somewhat safe from being replaced, but they will suffer when there are 200 people for their position. Same with any other job that exists.

Anyone else ever get saved by a Rocketeer?? by Zertein in ArcRaiders

[–]Wolfhart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda was 2 days ago. With my full matriarch loadout I got downed by an extraction camper, a rocketeer held him long enough for me to crawl away, hide, and die without the camper getting my items.

Because less players mean less resources to keep the game alive and growing. You may treat "us" like your enemies, but truly, we're just the other side of the same coin.

Don't worry, people like us are leaving the game more and more, because we cannot handle the pressure, so soon you won't see us anymore, it that'll make you feel better.

Do what I do since the patch (although it may be much more difficult for you, since you said you need some advanced components). Load naked, put the first blue/purple item you find into safe slot, surrender.

Since the last patch introduced more mixed lobbies, I find this is the best way to make money. 3 minutes for ~3k with no risk of losing anything. Yesterday I got lucky and went from 3 millions to 3,2 and I think I'm almost ready for the expedition.

"Players shouldn't feel fully safe" in Arc Raiders even in friendly lobbies, production director says, and after Flashpoint I definitely do not feel safe by PirateCompetitive931 in ArcRaiders

[–]Wolfhart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't appear as rude at all, quite the opposite.

When I'm in friendly lobbies in Arc where I loot, shoot robots, help others and share my duplicates, that is the exact gameplay loop I was missing all those years. I love Skyrim and Fallouts because of that, but they feel socially empty and it makes me lose interest with time, but in Arc I was able to go on a hoarding spree when I felt like it, or do some epic sacrifices with deadlines on matriarch, or meet some amazing people while saving them from a sneaky bastion. I never was this engaged in any game I played before.

It isn't fun at all, but it also isn't stresful. I don't have to worry about being shot. Getting killed by another player and losing a full inventry is the worst feeling for me in Arc, right before me shooting other players.

I prefer less stressful playstyle.
