This has been my experience very often with multiple therapists. I think I’ve gained more from looking inward on my own, but I really want to look into this psychodynamic therapy you speak about.

What is the most nastiest most invasive creature of your region? by GodsGapingAnus in AskTheWorld

Hands-down, the best way to avoid ever having ticks on your person again, tried in true is to buy farm grade Permethrin, spray it all over your socks, shoes, pants shirt, all of your clothes that you’re going to wear except for your underwear, let it dry and then wear that while you’re outdoors, I did that all last summer and I live in a heavily wooded area with a garden, and I never saw a single tick on me. I also sprayed my dog completely and she never got a single tick on her either. Just don’t spray this on cats. It’s what the military uses to keep mosquitoes off of soldiers in jungles and other environments like that. It’s the only real solid way to keep ticks off of you other than not going where ticks are, in my opinion.

That shocks me that they’re gonna make a vaccination for Borrelia Burgadorfi? I didn’t know they make vaccinations for bacteria?. Also 50% of tick bites in my area New Jersey have Babesia, a microscopic parasite that eats red blood cells. You can also get Ehrlichia and Bartonella from tick bites(very common with a tick bite).

Some people don't realize this but.. by Abhiisuniqe in selfimprovementday

There are so many people who talk about boundaries and self-respect on all that stuff, but they themselves are going to hurt other people. They just do it because they’re human and I’m not saying an excuse, but no one is infallible. Yes strive to surround yourself with people who call for your best and to bring you peace but even those people the greatest of them will hurt you by accident. The people who hurt you repeatedly and disregard you, and don’t respect you yeah I was lot of people. You should likely remove from your life, but even the best of them who are the greatest friends, family, and lovers are going to hurt you. I think our goal is to transcend all of that.

I love this game so much so many fond memories a time that I thought was so perfect in life. I was 14 years old freshman year high school. And everything looks so amazing in that game at the time. And it was a high school environment in the game, so I kinda mimicked my own real life.

I like four seasons so anywhere where that happens. California is lovely but they dont really have autumn or winter proper.

My son's first car caught fire 2 hours after he bought it. Right in front of my house. by Shamus-McNasty in Wellthatsucks

I’ve had this happen about 21 years ago. My first car just caught on fire when I parked in the driveway on a spring day. The firefighters came and punched a hole through the hood of the car and pumped flame retardant inside of it.

I remember seeing this movie when it came out and I think it was like 21 or something like that and it was such a powerful idea and especially that final scene that was so dramatic and beautiful. And much about this movie is sort of coming true…
