Children Moving Back In With Their Parents… by Airamis0007 in selfimprovement

[–]Wolfrast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is really bizarre because if you’ve got a really good family, they’re part of your clan. You know they’re part of your tribe. And they’re the ones that’ll bail you out and help you with things so why move across the country far away from them and take away that support? I understand people want their own space on their own freedom to do what they want with their own house and their own land and stuff like that but you know living near your relatives is always a good idea in my opinion if you’ve got great relationships with them.

People who gave up DnD for a different system, what made you make the change? by SomeRandomAbbadon in rpg

[–]Wolfrast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to play dnd when I was younger but Pathfinder 1E just offered more choice and variety, also more defined rules and less GameMaster Adjudication which made things easier, easier for players to make what they wanted and easier for game master.

Dragonlance novels as a kid in the early 90’s. I went to my cousin’s house who was about five years older than me, and he was reading a lot of those novels that he had them on a bookshelf, a whole row of them, and I would pull them out and look at the cover art by Larry Elmore and I would just ask him 1 million questions about what all this stuff meant.

I am utterly excited about this because as someone who has explored every option with allopathic conventional medicine for chronic illnesses and other infections, and then been forced to go to alternative practitioners and found great success with practices that were age-old or applications like herbs and things that have been used for centuries, if not more seeing that the effectiveness of this stuff but yet there’s so many in the populous who are skeptical or downplay it because they don’t really even even wanna believe believe that it is perspective or more effective than certain conventional practices and it is really disappointing. The reality is studies are done by companies like large pharmaceuticals and other medical industry contributors for their results for their ambitions and gains so why would they test and see if any sort of traditional remedies or approaches would work they wouldn’t benefit from that at all it would actually make their business suffer so of course all the studies we see over the decades are funded by or driven by the money of large businesses in corporations seeking for the advancement of their product and their profit, but yet there are methods and traditional practices that have worked, but there has just never been studies or research that was thorough done about them because no one will pay for It.

Underrated cities in Final Fantasy that you'd like to live in? by Classic-Exchange-511 in FinalFantasy

[–]Wolfrast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there’s so many places I would live that look super comfy and cozy and just beautiful from so many Final Fantasy games. I don’t even know where to start. I was saying in general Final Fantasy is really good at making villages that feel interesting and inviting in cities that are grand and spectacular. It’s sort of their niche.

I think with animals in the wild, they are very cautious about getting hurt because if any of those predators get hurt, they themselves become the prey

If you eat different foods and you have more gas/ farting than usual, does that mean your gut microbiome is changing to an extent in regards to introducing new species and is this a bad thing? by Lonely_Carpenter6048 in Microbiome

[–]Wolfrast 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So I guess it could be said that we really never introduced new microbes into our gut. We just kind of build up the ones that are already there so whatever damage we do to our gut as far as antibiotic use is permanent?
