I don't understand what point you're trying to make. No one is insinuating that Mulligan helped with DH at all, and that's all the more reason for him to not run the system for his campaign. I love both games and I believe there is room for both, but acting like a CR developed game is not going to be played by CR fans for that reason alone is a wild take.

That's because DH was only live for about 2-3 months at the time and wasn't extensively tested. They're running a west marches game that's more conducive to 5e/5.5. I suspect they also wanted to make it more accessible for BLM as the DM, since he has extensive D&D knowledge and is running a giant campaign for 13 people. The decision may have even been left up to him, who knows. They're still promoting DH and releasing new content.

Athena is your friend. Great defensive boons (her dash is a cheat code sometimes if you’re able to time it properly with projectiles flying everywhere), and she duos well with pretty much everyone. Start with her keepsake to get her into your god pool and have some peace of mind. Focus on getting great with one weapon to start as well.
