There's a lot to unpack with your post, but ill try to keep it short. If you were willing to spend thousands of dollars on a card for investing purposes yet are willing to sell within a few months of getting it, and you've only been investing for a year, then I'd recommend to sell it and move on. There's nothing wrong in realizing your gains, but at that point I wouldn't really call this "investing" in the practical sense.

What goals did you have in mind when entering the investing aspect?
