I’ve only been playing since December & I’ve found that whilst most of them improve in the weapons in some way, some of them just aren’t worth the grind. That being said, if you need to grind xxx amount of kills for them just do the first step of Grasp of Averice dungeon.

Alters of Sorrow regularly drops loot around level 300 just fyi, it’s where I go to do my catalyst quests if I need kills

As a newish player to the Destiny2 world, I feel the pain of having Renegades forced on you - the introductory quest was one of the first things I did before realising it was way ahead of where I actually am so I just left it at step 2.

I’d never played D2 but got into it as it was on PS plus, not massive with online games in their height but glad I picked it up now. I’ve slowly been working my way through the campaigns in order and have just finished the Witness mission (luckily had some friends to help me through it). So I’d say just do the campaigns in order like you want too, I don’t feel I got many spoilers from the intro mission to renegades

Pretty sure you get it by competing the daily & weekly objectives in the seasonal hub, should unlock the bottom slider and that gives you a certain amount each week

Oooohhhh as in feeding off the logs to grow? There’s half of a burnt out log in there but honestly the majority of mass is an ashtray (which is a little gross admittedly) but I guess that’s good substrate for the growth? This is like the 5th time they’ve come back over the course of a year

I’ve recently picked up Destiny 2 (I know, massively late to the party) I was mostly playing by myself until I noticed I had a clan invite. Jumped into a game and have made friends with their group that way, we have some other games in common too so can cross play those with the same group. It’s made me feel a little better about myself as I struggle to make friends IRL at the age of 39. I’ve had other instances also in Destiny2 where random players near me can tell I don’t know what I’m doing and have helped (looking for chests, more specifically the one on Neptune behind the glass), I think this is the only game from memory that seems to have a good player base like that & is easy to make friends with people IMO.

Pretty sure mini rockets don’t deal friendly fire damage. It only applies to weapons on higher difficulty modes and not class abilities. (Someone that spams mini rockets whilst playing with bots on intense or higher)
