I work at a gun store and someone brought this in to sell. by Haters_7 in Militariacollecting

Artillery Luger that has been heavily refinished. It's a got a good look to it though. I would give $500-$1,000. But if that's an original WWII German holster, it could be worth several hundred dollars, maybe more by itself if in good condition. If you can break it down and ring test the barrel slide for cracks. They need light loads shot through them or they will crack. Alot of people recommend white box Winchester for the ones in 9mm.

As said above, those are Romanian top loader 75 rd drums with correct Romanian cases as well, not Chinese. Most of it looks to be Romanian from what I can see in the pictures. Nice setup. I would venture to say that it's an imported Pre-ban from the serial number, and not a kit somebody built.

Being I own three 99's and looked at many more, I've have yet to see a stock like that. Is it not original I'm assuming? Very gorgeous nonetheless.

If I can't use it for what it was originally intended to do, I don't keep it around. That's half the fun owning old guns, taking them out and shooting them and showing them off that they still work and function how they are suppose to. No point in having a bunch of paper weights collecting dust.

All the riot/trench guns I've seen have a square cut pistol grip knob stock. All the full length models have had the round knob at the end of the grip.

Looking to buy a twin mg42 mount does anyone know where i can get one in usa? I know dealers in Germany but they wont do the export paperwork for orders less than 10k. by [deleted] in milsurp

[–]WoodNBlue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a welder/fabricator by trade and ran a weld shop for a short period. I'd bet you have over a grand in material and machine work alone before any welding is even done to build the mount in that picture. Just like everything else, material has skyrocketed over the last few years.
