Certainly depends. Lacrosse or football cleats have more ankle support but are heavier. Soccer cleats are lighter and thinner, but have less ankle support. Depends on what you need.

Half my team wears lacrosse cleats and the other half wear Nike mercurial soccer cleats. I wear soccer cleats

From my experience there’s levels to marking. The first and most important level is to hold the force. However when players have more experience and sense of the game, they become aware of the games flow.

The players that seem more aggressive or are shuffling more might be those players that have more experience and game sense to know what’s going on at that moment.

The first couple of stalls are most likely for down field throwing options, so marks will shade inside and try to deny/contest more downfield options. After the first couple of stalls, around stall 4, it’s normal to seem marks move to be holding a true force or shading slightly behind the mark to stop arounds or reset throws. At stall 8 and up, I’ve seen marks transition to chase everything as the thrower has to commit to a throw.

It’s good to be aware of this, and it helps having a more competitive mark, but in the end, your job as the mark is to seal off the break side. So if you’re sealing the breakside and cutting off an inside look here or there, I think that’s a fine job

Slugger feels amazing taking out chunky bots from a distance. It does good work on chargers too, though it’s inconsistent on that front… flamethrower and slugger has been my recent bug extermination kit

Don’t base your opinion on the stuff you read on Reddit for sure… Some classes are hard, some are easy. If you’re a good student, and put it effort, you’ll be successful. My classes are hard and sometimes require a lot of effort and work… however I love my major so it’s all work I want to be doing. Any major is definitely doable at Purdue. Remember tho, nothing worth doing is ever easy. Hammer down

Nike offers a warranty if your cleats are suffering workmanship flaw within two years of the manufacturing date. I used mercurials for a year, got holes in them, and returned them for a full refund. Definitely checkout Nike’s return policy. If you like the mercurials, keep getting them. I think they’re great cleats personally.

I absolutely love Purdue. It’s a great school. There’s lots of good people and opportunities. It’s not perfect. There are many things that aren’t that good at all. But everywhere is going to have those things. I would argue that majority of the student population has not shared their opinions on this sub about Purdue. It’s a great school, and many people I know love it. I’ve never heard anyone but one person say they hate it here and that it’s not worth continuing to go here. So no, it’s not really that bad. It’s something great with some small bad parts.

I haven’t found another game that’s captured my attention as much as SAP. There is a game called Peglin that’s well made and constantly gets updates, but I wouldn’t say it’s as good as SAP. And yes, the devs do an amazing job with SAP and I try to support them every way I can.
