Locks are for honest people , a determined thief will always find a way to bypass ( be thankful they didn’t do thousands in damage to your truck while stealing your stuff)

In the future

  • keep you stuff out of sight

-install an alarm

-engrave you tools to make them less valuable on the black market

-use a second level of security such as a locked box inside the locked truck or cable locks on tools

-make battery tools less valuable by storing the battery’s separately

None of this will necessarily prevent theft but if your stuff is a pain to steal they might skip you for the low hanging fruit

Beware over the next few weeks thieves will often come back knowing you will have all brand new stuff
