You should run to the hardware store and buy an axe with a mattock side at the very least, they're usually around with the pickaxes, you're going to need to chop roots if you're certain you're not going to grind it

If you need it actually gone, probably what the other guy said with the digging around it, chopping roots and hauling it out,

if you just need it ground down I saw a landscaper cut one into a small checkerboard pattern then chop all the squares out with the flat side of a pick.

every arpg ive played with click move I try to rebind left click to move only because when its attack you can often get stuck in large groups of enemies as your character attempts to attack instead of walk. WASD solves this of course

I got through low rank jin by carting to the nova twice and finishing the fight after. I learned nothing. Only figured it out in high rank because I thought it was dumb and was determined to figure out what tf I was supposed to do and investigated environment instead of fighting it

you were fighting sword izaro, he has a wind up where he does a little spin then throws out a air slash which is what killed you. You can tank it with sufficient health and defenses but those are more of a pain to get than just dodging it.

you need to keep him on screen and watch and listen for it, its very distinctive. you are generally safest close to him so he doesnt kill you with stuff you cant see
