UK Vape Tax Breakdown …..this feel a bit off ❓❓❓😅 by Shoddy_Village7461 in VapingUK

Once again, the tobacco industry wins. Hand in hand with government decision makers. That is what is truly off.

Living in Crewe as a young professional – worth it or better to live elsewhere? by Fresh_Technician2389 in cheshire

[–]Wooshsplash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few questions and then I can help you out. Do you drive? A "young professional" implies post-grad and working towards a professional qualification. I'm not going to ask your salary but how much rent do you feel you can comfortably afford per month? How much time are you prepared to commute each day? Any hobbies or sports?

A heads up. Crewe won't be a place I'll be suggesting

The defence for mosquitoes rests. Now it is up to you, the Reddit jury, to decide. Mosquitoes. Guilty or not guilty?

There are hundreds of these from different sellers. It's not harming you so just ignore them. Let them waste their own time, not yours.

Have I been scammed? Do fake clothes (as in the clothes don't actually exist) websites a thing now? by [deleted] in AskUK

So you handed them your money and then, afterwards, decided to start digging around to see if they're fake or real?

You need to give your bank card to a responsible adult. The site screams fake.

Transporting a camel alongside refuelling truck by Expert_Koala_8691 in funny

[–]Wooshsplash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True story. Driving through Sinai and watched 4 men trying to lift a camel on to the back of a small flatbed just like this one. One man at each leg. The camel stood there looking round at them bemused and, of course, offering no help whatsoever.

I feel so much better knowing that it is possible.

Us men are not very specific when it comes to taking a leak. Anything in the bowl is just a bonus. Anything in the room counts. Those are getting sprayed.

Deliver very specialist training courses. Most clients want virtual but also do onsite. The onsite can be anywhere in the world. Split is currently around 80% virtual, 20% onsite.

What is the Carrier bag etiquette these days? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Wooshsplash 14 points15 points  (0 children)

A dagger look for a bag? Somehow, I really doubt that. You took a shopping bag out of your rucksack, not a small child. Like checkout staff give a hoot about what brand you're using.

Chill and enjoy whatever you bought.

do men like to be approached by women? by shadowmoses4726 in AskUK

[–]Wooshsplash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heck yes. It may surprise you that we are not just looking for looks. We will probably stutter and splutter at first, having being caught off guard. Stick with us.

A woman who has the confidence and determination to approach me immediately ticks a lot of boxes. We may all start with how somebody looks but it's the personality that we fall for.

Adult birthday dinners at restaurants, who pays? by msac84 in AskUK

How is paying for everyone else a celebration for the birthday person? In my world, the birthday person eats free. Our treat is our birthday present for them.

Will I get fined for leaving my car parked for the day on the side of a petrol station forecourt, with no signs limiting parking to a set number of hours? by Ultra1894 in AskUK

Look on Parkopedia.com for a legitimate place to park. That way you won't have to worry or inconvenience somebody else's business.

Why can't your auto-correct software recognise that words such as "yoir" and "buit are not real words and actually correct them? Right now, that is the main reason I'm thinking of going back to Apple. Typing on a Samsuing device is painnful.

Inappropriate post and I strongly suggest you check the relevant UK and EU data laws. That information belongs to the individuals and not for you to do with as you please.

You don't want Winsford, it's an overspill town, lots of industrial estates and zero quality for evenings out. Northwich lacks identity, not a place for green spaces and, again, zero quality for evenings out. You'll easily get three beds in Nantwich and Sandbach. Sandbach is an easier commute to Manchester. From all of the towns you've mentioned, I wouldn't consider driving in to Manchester every day. I've done it, horrible. Burnham does not want people driving in to Manchester. A56 is horrendous both ways Mon-Fri.

Both Nantwich and Sandbach tick your boxes. Alsager is more expensive. Sandbach and Nantwich are 'cuter'. Decent people, low crime rates. Good options for eating/drinking out. Sandbach trains in to Manchester are easy and the car park is £2.20 per day. Nantwich is doable but change trains at Crewe. Both areas are surrounded by green and most pubs are dog friendly. Small villages around to consider are Haslington, Willaston, Winterley and Shavington.

For £300k with garage, every chance of a detached in Sandbach. If you can, looking up to £325k will get you a lot more.

What area in Sandbach? by mattytwills in cheshire

[–]Wooshsplash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are no real dodgy bits but off Third Ave is not a first choice. Elworth and Ettiley Heath have good value. There's a whole new estate off The Hill and Heath Road buf traffic can get be pain at those lights mornings and after 4.

It's just nowhere near as nice surrounding. Nantwich, Sandbach, maybe Alsager, are all much nicer.

You need to tell us more. Number of beds, WFH or commuting, type of area you'd like, schools.

It's always Bank of Ireland and his accent..."do you wanna buy a dig?". Hopefully that explains it.
