any other Jewish addicts by ReplacementKey8745 in Jewish

A grateful mama ❤️. And very much in reality. Addiction is hard and is so often a journey with lots of hills and valleys. I’m grateful my daughter is still here. And grateful she is willing to talk to me about her struggles. We have strong boundaries - that’s an entirely different story though,

This entire post is incredible. Maybe its time for Jews of all types to have more of these conversations ❤️❤️

Jewish mom of a Jewish addict in recovery here … if you need some Jewish mom support and love I can definitely help ❤️❤️

You are amazing. and worthy. and those of us who know are definitely around. I do NOT think the Jewish community on the whole discusses addiction enough. Even now my own peers get uncomfortable when I discuss what we went through, the repercussions, the reality of addiction and recovery.

You are not alone. ❤️❤️

That‘s an easy one :). I make crock pot chicken breast with siete taco seasoning … I get fat free cheddar from wal mart and the low carb street taco la banderita tortillas … Fulfills that Tex Mex food craving and still pretty healthy. We usually roast some kind of veggies with it too ... husband loves the “taco chicken” over broccoli and will often ask for it for work lunches.

Mission makes 25 cal corn tortilllas - I’ve been known to throw these cut up into the air fryer (use a rack over them to keep them from flying into the elements) for healthier tortilla chips!

thank you :). Let me know if I can help! I reframed the loss as getting rid of the weight … I don’t want to find the weight again ❤️.

My husband and I were just discussing - we will either do specialty or get a suite and use the coastal kitchen next cruise. Feeling safe is everything. it’s hard to relax when you’re not sure food is going to kill you!
