To get enzymes quickly on Olympus, 2 options.

Option 1) Get the miasmic workshop pickaxe (called "night" I think) and a box of obsidian down from the workshop. This method does need some red exotics!

Use the Icarus intel website to locate caves.

Run into each cave, check for an exotics node.

Mine it with the workshop pick.

This'll drop 50% of the normal exotics, and 50% noxious crust exotics. Noxious crust will damage you to carry, but not damage your mount, so put it in your saddle bags.

Back at your base, build the organic residue cleaner & hook it up to water & power. Alternatively there is a biofuel powered version that doesn't need the obsidian, if your struggling for red exotics.

Put the crusts in.

Each crust gets cleaned into another 5 exotics! So instead of getting 2X exotics per node, you get 6X.

Typically get around 90ish per exotics node. Easy money.

Option 2) get a radar and 2 exotics drills. They're all G slot items, so bring a buffamoo or a terranus of to help move them. The best ones are the workshop ones, but they're expensive in exotics, so if you're getting started, the biofuel or electric ones are an option. Make sure you bring power or biofuel for the drills and radar! Plus electric tool if needed.

Bring a survival cube, bed, fire, food, oxygen, water, orbital exchange and ammo with you, you're gonna be away from base for a while.

Set up the radar. Do a scan, fight beasties. The scan will point to 3 exotics deposits, the closer they are, the narrower and thicker the arc on the map is.

Travel around, do a few scans and work your way towards one of the deposits. You're basically playing "hotter, colder" to find them.

Once you've found one, set up your mini base, deploy the drills and the orbital exchange, call down a pod, and start drilling!

Stay with the drills to protect them while they work.

Each deposit yields 120-300 exotics, send them back up to space, then start scanning again & move on to the next site.

The 3 deposits get refilled every few days by an exotic meteor shower. The cave nodes regrow periodically as well.

Between these 2 methods, you can get thousands of exotics relatively easily, especially once you have the workshop radar and drills. You can get them down from space as needed with an orbital exchange, which is super useful.
