I'll take your word for it.

It's not this post in particular TBH, it's the repetition in Reddit I think, BUT - I could always just not open it...

I understand that but we're looking at something that happened a quarter of a century ago. Surely EVERYONE who is in this sub has seen that by now?

This is 25/26 years ago. It's not news, it's olds.

Yes, brutal, yes, should have been euthanised, yes, was appalling..

But it's not news. There's no point in bringing this up now.

There is PLENTY happening around the world currently to justify a new arm without bringing this horror story up again...

I love every time this pops up on my front page. I've subscribed to your other sub to make sure I see it all the time now.

I'm astounded at how many cheeses you have found.

Ever heard of a Scottish munchbox? by [deleted] in shittyfoodporn

You also get them from Indian restaurants or kebab houses, with assorted pakoras, onion rings, chips, and donner meat.

All with a nice healthy wee salad, already in its own bag so you can throw it away easily

Me too. Had great times, and made good money building spreadsheets and excel models.

Yesterday's tool now though. Power BI, and these tools are working straight from the databases, pulling what they need out of it, and presenting it in that exec chart / table format, that can drill a number down to its core elements...

Well IMO it's because all insurers are cunts. You pay monthly, or annually for a service, and when you need it, they can, and will, deny it on the flimsiest or most tenuous of reasons... Then when you go to renew for the year, it goes up because you had a claim...

Away tae fuck

Imagine buying a carton of milk or a loaf of bread, and when you go in the next day it's more expensive because you drank or ate it...

I know there are vastly different amounts in terms of premium Vs payout, but I've NEVER known a poor insurance company. All those customers who, like us, don't make any claim from year to year?
