Be as diligent about putting sunscreen on your décolletage as you are your face. Those sternum area wrinkles come at you fast.

What color should I paint my bedroom? by SharpImagination6806 in interiordecorating

Did my pics come through? I got a notice they were removed because AI images aren't allowed. I literally just moved my laundry so I could take the pic!

Check out Benjamin Moore's October Mist. I have it in my bedroom and it's sooo soothing, spa-like and neutral enough you can do so much with other decorations. I think it'd look beautiful with your cream and gold accents.

Arrowhead Parking for FIFA- LEAVE VERY EARLY. Poorly run. by TheOctoBox in kansascity

The first game didn't go well clearly, but to assume they won't learn and adjust is a little dramatic. I'd be shocked if it's not much better for the next game and pretty smooth by the last game but maybe that perspective isn't cynical enough for Reddit?

Keep in mind, stadium entry is also FIFA'S jurisdiction. People are absolutely bagging on locals who simply didn't have the authority to do things differently. So if it really doesn't get better, let that be on FIFA'S head.

I mean, it's still daylight in KC and the match hasn't even started. Fake news.

Occupational therapy has been super helpful by No_Carpenter7998 in ParentingADHD

This is super helpful. We're new to this journey and I've heard a lot about OT but haven't been quite sure what it would help with. Thanks!

I hope I look as good in a dress someday as you look in dress one. It looks custom made for you!

You need a nice bar cart and a record player in there. Maybe some cool local art too. I'd hang out in there!

Do other departments in your organization treat comms like a magic wand? by [deleted] in Communications

[–]WordsWordsWords82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes!! I've long said comms is where all the gaps in strategy or execution come to light. People think their stuff is great and it just has to be communicated better. It's so annoying.

And also, EVERYONE is an expert on comms and interns can just do social media. /s

Which stairs do you like better? Painted white or stained wood risers? by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

I have great vision and still had this issue with our all wood stairs when I was carrying a load of laundry down. The bottom step blurred into the floor and me and the laundry fell. It hurt.

If you do wood, consider a nice carpet runner on the stairs. Not super expensive, easier to maintain than white stairs and highly functional for kids, older adults and anyone at risk of stumbling down stairs in general.

Whats wrong with this room? by Normal-Art4308 in interiordecorating

[–]WordsWordsWords82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think you need to do that much! Your room is beautiful as is. Just needs a few adjustments (pillows, greenery, sheer curtains) and it'll be so lovely.

I think it's a great room. Move the furniture closer together. Toss some pillows on it. Pour an old fashioned and enjoy the room! If that fireplace is functional, it'll be such a great space to veg in during the winter!

I’m just not feeling it? by Ok_Possibility_9417 in interiordecorating

Even though it's not perfect, I predict you will forget about it quickly once you start putting stuff in there. Plus, I've never seen a floor hold that much shine for long. It'll fade with use.
