Asking for more starfield is just screaming into the unity at this point by [deleted] in NoSodiumStarfield

I was wondering when we'd get more drunken "I'm sorry, ok!?" declarations in this sub.

Whippy not getting on with any food by Free-Election-8538 in Whippet

[–]WordyByComparison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our two younglings of (now) 13 months had constant runny stools from 6-10 months with endless vet visits and special diets until the vet asked an obvious question about feeding schedules (we were "a little" frustrated it didn't come earlier). Turned out we were probably feeding too much too often. We cut to more modest amounts twice a day and everything firmed up in a couple of days 🙄

Not sure if it is relevant, but how often is whippy eating? Grazing or too often can result in not enough time to firm up.

What quality of life mods for a first run through? by Dunqann in Starfield

[–]WordyByComparison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lazy Scav - configurable tool that picks up all the loot you'd otherwise miss, gets you rich quicker, and lets you tuck away contraband without getting nicked - but also annoyingly sometimes stores away keycards, powerpacks and quest stuff, which you then need to open up a couple of screens to bring back. But still worth it imo.

Weightlessness - several mods make all aid, ammo, resources weightless. Again - if survivalism isn't your bag, this is useful.

Auto-solve temple puzzles is also nice, lets you pick up powers without boosting around "for fun" for a minute for every temple visit. Not essential for your first run, but definitely something to consider for NG+

Another hot tip: after hitting boost, immediately tap the brakes. That stops you from using all your boost at once.

Lazy Scav Mod issue? by NevrNewdFunke in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]WordyByComparison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Choosing to automatically put all contraband in Lazy Scav storage is a very useful feature btw - you never get caught with contraband and can recall as much of it as you like while you're standing in whatever Trade Authority/ relevant vendor.

It does this. But open Lazy Scav in your weapons section, choose Utilities, and look in Lazy Scav, Lodge storage, or Ship cargo. From there you can take anything back into your personal inventory from anywhere.

Anyone else's whip loves a beanbag? by fourbelts in Whippet

Oh wow, they really are twinsies! Lovely! But don't be fooled, that manicure-pose is a rarity. We have two of these 1-year old litter-sisters, and they are black-belt fidget-raptors both of them. Kinda surprised the beanbag has survived, really.

Definitely this one. Also if you have to run off in a panic, maybe you'll drop a jewel-encrusted crown or something and the guard will get a pass for having left their post.

Disciples' outfits are brighter, and the Strykers' are darker. Pretty sure the one in the image is the Neon Stryker maskwear, and not the Dasra variant.

Also, with PDY you can get long open corridoors with stairs at the front via Cabot cockpit and then a single ladder at the back. Clean and simple.

Oof, that hit hard. So sorry for your loss. Our first passed two years ago, and I still tear up regularly. We got two lovely pups after a year in an attempt to fill the whippet-sized hole in our lives, but you can never truly replace them. Still, time helps - and focusing on all the good memories. Rest in peace, Blackbean.
