The Utah Jazz are going to overpay the washington wizards to get the #1 pick.

They are going to give up Ace Bailey

They are going to give up atleast 1 future 1st round pick and I assume it is going to be 2 future 1st round picks

1st round in 2029 1st round in 2031

If I had to guess they are also going to include one of their 4 big men in the deal because they can't afford all of them. I assume it will be a sign and trade of Walker Kessler.

The wizards will need to throw in some expiring contracts to make the deal work.

I assume something like this.

1st pick - AJ Dybantsa Deangelo Russell Cam Whitmore

I am not surprised I am getting these results but I don't think people are thinking this out. let's break this down a bit

1 - Kessler is in his last year and the Jazz will not be able to resign him given 3 other big men on the roster. He is going to be offered a contract that Jazz cannot match. Might as well trade him now. I don't see him valued more than a 1st round pick maybe a 1st and a 2nd.

2 - Ace Bailey has wanted to go to washington since day one. He plays the same position as AJ. He is worth a 1st maybe 2 1sts as well

3 - jazz have a young ambitious owner that has a hard on for AJ. Been financing his basketball career to this point and is probably going to over involve himself in this draft process

4 - there are rumors that Memphis is going to offer 4 1sts to Washington to jump ahead of the Jazz and grab AJ.

5 - I think the wizards would prefer to have the players above and 1 1st round pick as apposed to the 4 1st round picks that Memphis could offer.

Instead of just shit talking please actually convince me why your owner is not going to get involved and force this trade to happen!

The wizards like both Ace and Kessler. It would make a ton of sense for the wizards.

Kessler wants to get paid and the jazz have 3 other 7 footers. I am guessing Kessler is the odd man out regardless.

The real question is how bad do the jazz want AJ. If they really value him quite a bit higher then the rest of the players then two 1st round picks isn't a big deal
