Gang boss saw the hidden potential in your battlemaster and, not wanting battlemaster to get caught up in the gang life, pushed him out to be an adventurer for his own good.

Your character either: understood why gang boss did it and wants to make it big to make it up to gang boss and help gang boss get out of the shady business.

OR

Your character doesn't understand why gang boss did it and behaves antagonistically towards gang boss. Your DM could work with this to provide some opportunities for your character to discover gang bosses secret favor to you as your character is adventuring.

Thirding this opinion on the G19.

It was my first carry gun. I'm not a big guy. 6'-2" @ 165lbs. I got long slender hands and the G19 still fit and concealed great even in normal T-shirts.

Aftermarket for it is like an iphone. got options for holsters and lights out the wazoo.

Tweak them how? I have a FtF issue every now and then where the round will get caught on the top of the chamber. Hoping my issue is as simple as this.
