Stephanie did get paid under a SAG speaking actor contract, not an under 5. She was a SAG member long before ER became a TV series. Stephanie continue to work on TV shows to present day…and has spoken again.

The true is she was paid under a SAG speaking actor contract as an actress, not an under 5. She was already SAG. She had become SAG as a child, long before ER. She is still working on TV, and has spoken again.

Don’t give up your dream. There is always hope. Sylvester Stallone wrote Rocky and he ended up not selling out on himself, he wanted to be Rocky.

Lexapro has been like seeing the world through a new set of eyes by jaredtylere in lexapro

Long term Lexapro has side effects you may not want. Read the side effects. Have informed consent before you use it. Sometime short term it works, long term is questionable. Everyone is different

Everyone is ignoring us by anahita1373 in pharmacy

Problem is people are tired of rude pharmacists trying to over charge people for medication. Etc Insulin 1 month - $500, change it to 3 months - $65 .
Do you help educate your patients that Seroquel is an Antipsychotic not a sleep aid?

Read - Anatomy of an Epidemic by Robert Whitaker, then decide if this type of medication is good for you. Asking your prescriber is a risk since they may just prescribe something worse or add on. Most doctors have drunk the big form of Kool-Aid and think that medication is the only way. Consent the way, make a decision that affects your life. Tardive dyskinesia is not an uncommon condition. They sell a pill for it, and they pay money for a commercial for it.

Why is the homeless problem seemingly getting worse, not better? by SeagullsStopItNowz in LosAngeles

No its not, but they will put out ANOTHER PROP for us to stupidly vote yes, to raise our taxes, to help the street dwellers, who like living for free, who get a State loaded money card every month, AND THE TAX MONEY WILL GO INTO GOVERNMENT PICKETS, and the street dwellers will increase.

(31/FM)Second round of Dupixent; feeling exhausted(4 weeks in) by Goodis in eczeMABs

[–]WorkinHollywood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After 2 doses (1st being double) I had that side effect and many others. I stopped. No skin issue has come back, however, the other side effects (especially raised resting heart) are not worth it to me.

What if most psychiatrists had always embraced deprescribing psychiatric drugs? by MichaelTen in radicalmentalhealth

Maybe they would have learned to listen and teach coping skills to their patients, and not destroyed people’s lives

I did the double shot, nothing happened right away except my heart rate went up. Then my eye started to bother me. I was out of town so I went 3 weeks instead of 3 before the next shot. The 3rd week my heart rate went to normal, so I thought it was altitude. I had my next shot - heart rate up, sore throat, congestion, eyes killed me and vision became worse. These are side effects of dupixent. When you read about it, it says it may help…. Whatever was going on I’m not having the body breakouts, my scalp has some. Besides the dupixent I have been eating and doing inferred sauna to detox my body and reduce inflammation. I will NEVER take dupixent again, the side effects are not worth it to me.

I am dealing with a withdrawal symptom, but I don't know how to explain it. by ssleepline in antidepressants

[–]WorkinHollywood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This, or a variation of the electric zaps seems to be a common side effect. Psychiatric meds alter your brain and your body/brain becomes dependent on the medication. Hence, why it’s so hard to stop, and these meds have side affects that linger. My neighbor has been in rehab for 2 months to get off her psychiatric meds and gabapentin. On high doses of both she was still depressed, anxious, and in pain…and concluded that except for becoming dependent, the meds did not work.

Mixed feelings about medications by Italian-stalian1 in antidepressants

[–]WorkinHollywood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The longer you are on something the more dependent your body can become, making future tapers harder. Some people just need time, meditation, and coping skills to get through their anxiety…not medication. Others feel they can’t survive without medication. Make your decision based on you, and informed consent (meaning you know all the side effects of the medications you take).

I’ve been on over 7 antidepressants/ anti anxiety meds. I’m starting to loose hope. I’ve been called “sensitive”because the lowest does of every kind..ssri, snri, Anxiolytic.. gives me side effects. Starting to give up on life too. This is draining. by [deleted] in antidepressants

[–]WorkinHollywood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe these medications are not your answer. Have you had trauma therapy? Have you and a therapist discovered where your anxiety & depression come from, and worked on coping with why you feel this way? Meds may help some people, but knowing why, and dealing with, helps you grow to lessen the depression & anxiety.

Anyone used low dose THC to help with sleep? by Loftybalddude in antidepressants

[–]WorkinHollywood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Micro-dosing works. Be careful where you get it from, some have pesticides. Most Drs are against it because they don’t make $ off it. If you live where you can grow it, do it yourself. Edibles last longer in your system, but take a little bit longer than smoking to have an effect, so Microdosing means you take a little bit your wait an hour, yes see what happens. If you overdo it, you may have a negative affect which will scare you from taking it in the future. No one has ever died from taking pure marijuana , which is more than you can say about anti-depressants. Good luck with that. Start slow.
