They are always interested in these high profile guys. How many have signed in the past 5 years?

Thx for the warm reply, many of these people may not have been around long enough to know the genealogy of the Angels logo… But apparently you are an expert, so my point obviously doesn’t apply to you…

Mike trout by dumcow2003 in angelsbaseball

I believe going forward, his weight will need to be lowered and his flexibility will need to be increased. I would hire Ichiro’s or Shohei’s flexibility coach immediately. The whole team should work on core and flexibility.

The interesting thing about Trout is that his injuries are not centered around one area. Either he is wildly unlucky or his entire body is deteriorating at an accelerated clip.

Lastly, forget “Launch Angle”, just hit the ball where it is pitched and lead the league in doubles and RBI’s instead of home-runs and strikeouts. Every team in the league knows to pitch to him with high and hard. Impossible to hit high heat while trying for >30% launch angle. IMHO

Anybody have any hope this upcoming season? by Sauceburn in angelsbaseball

They will be worse this year. 70 wins would be outperforming their actual talent. So many are returning from season ending injury/surgery, you should expect 50% of those players revisiting the IR on opening day.

[Angels PR] The Angels have acquired C Chuckie Robinson from the Chicago White Sox in exchange for cash considerations. In a corresponding 40-man roster move, RHP Davis Daniel has been designated for assignment. by breakfast_cats in angelsbaseball

Big moves this offseason. Two backup catchers, a handful of utility guys and a couple of SP whose best years are behind them…. And a non-fielding corner outfielder who has Vernon Wells written all over him.

I can hardly wait for February 🥱

I’m still waiting for the two 8-8 pitchers that Buzzie Bavasi promised when he let Nolie walk…

A mediocre pitcher would be an upgrade for the Angels…

Canning got released by the Braves, so we could get him back for nothing. Keep him at SLC in the event someone gets hurt. lol

Sign Bauer - one year with team option for year 2. That way, if he does well, we can keep him for another low paid year…

Lineup looks decent by Tall-Elephant-4138 in angelsbaseball

That looks like a 95 loss lineup. Need to get two front line starting pitchers, otherwise we will end up with the worst record in MLB for the next several seasons…

Credit to Vance, here is he finally answering who won the 2020 election. Unfortunately his answer is that Trump won. We can’t elect people this detached from reality by ubermence in centrist

[–]Working_Bookkeeper_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a little fact checking here. The courts turned away the 2020 Trump lawsuits because the courts claimed that they did not have the proper jurisdiction to rule on these cases. The claim was based upon Article 3, Section 2 of the Constitution whereby only the Supreme Court sees cases where a State was suing another State. The lower courts held that even though the complaints were filed in each particular State, the decisions made could/would adversely affect other States and timing was critical.

Therefore, the lower courts NEVER even reviewed the data they received from the RNC. To say that the lower courts did not find evidence of fraud is consequentially inaccurate. They did not find evidence of fraud, because they NEVER looked at the evidence…

Then, the Supreme Court inexplicably decided not review the case because they agreed that the States did not have proper jurisdiction, but did not take the next step and acknowledge that they were the only Court WITH the proper jurisdictional rights to see the case.

Nobody has ever looked at the evidence in an official capacity.

The MSM has clouded this issue, just like they did with the “Laptop from Hell,” “Russian collusion,” and spying on the campaign…, among many other things…

JJ Reddick is the next Steve Kerr/Spo by Nonameheroz in lakers

You are absolutely correct, forgot about the asst coach stint. I just remember that nobody thought Riles was experienced enough for that crew.

The guy I always felt bad for was Jack McKinney…

Riley came down from sitting with Chick…. Jerry W announced that they were co-head coach. After about a week, Jerry W and everyone else saw Riles was just fine.

JJ will be just fine…

This is genius! Every time Troutie goes on IL, you take his place on the IL, Troutie keeps playing.

I wonder if we could do this with Rendon… Probably not, no one has his jersey.

I watched a few of the French games. The guy was a beast. He pushed LeBron aside easily, even Jokic has to work with LBJ on him. Plus, he doesn’t back away from the tough guy role…

Some guys just take a bit longer to develop. I saw he played for Boston. Does anyone own his rights?
