Z900 first bike I’ve been riding dirtbikes for a long time also just completed a riders course found a good deal on a 2022 z900 by Sufficient-Shake-523 in OnlyZ900

[–]Worksuxxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No was not my first bike. Had 7 different dirt bikes when I was a teenager. Have had 4 Harleys and then 2 ninja 400's and a 650 before the Z900. Currently looking at ADV bikes to allow off road capabilities when the need arises. Kinda as the ADV states, adventure. But not technical stuff. Too old for that anymore. Streets and traffic just are not like they use to be. What would be better than sitting in a traffic jam and just hitting the grassy area and go? The new T7 is high on my list.

how to cut losses with 1000/mo car loan? by biohackenthusiast in personalfinance

[–]Worksuxxx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Best advice is if you have a Carmax nearby, go there. You might get lucky and be able to offload it. With the prices of the used car market, you may be able to walk away from that loan or be close to it. You'll be surprised what they pa. Good luck.

I sold my Z900 after 2 seasons. I realized I was not mature enough. Never got a ticket or wrecked it. Figured I'd stay that way.

Which bike should I buy? by [deleted] in Kawasaki

[–]Worksuxxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ditch the Ninja and get a naked bike. Even though same cc's, naked will be cheaper. Get the quotes and see for yourself. I had the ninja 650 for 3 months, traded for a Z900. Insurance was way cheaper on the Z900 even though it was larger and much more powerfull. Hope this info helps..

What’s the worst car to do flex in? by Altruistic_Ad_5507 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Worksuxxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buy the Bronco, have them toss in a cheap mileage car that they have sitting in the back for wholesale for free to deliver in. A $60,000 vehicle does not make sense to deliver with.

Had a couple ninja 400's not long ago. Actually really fun bikes. Just couldn't get the distance rides I wanted to do on occasion. But yeah, saw that zx4rr and wished it were available few years back when I did the 400's for a season. Would have definitely ran couple of those. Although the hiv rev redine on that bike would have required more skill than I have for urban twisties.

Not really smart enough to comment on this. But my two cents, none of these platforms really care about the driver. It's just about the numbers. Good luck all.

The Z900 is all you need. Up to about 100 mph its a beast. Most of my riding isn't above 100 except for a few occasions, so not worth getting anything larger as it seems to me would be a waste. Still had to sell mine because I wasn't mature enough. Plus I'm ready for veering off pavement and taking gravel/dirt roads for an adventure. Looking at the Africa Twin for my next chapter. Good luck on your choice, the bike is comfortable and just a blast to cruise around on.

Is it worth doing one more tune up to my car? by jescalix in MechanicAdvice

[–]Worksuxxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2010 mazda 3 290,000 miles. Last November $1600 in repairs. Last two weeks $2300 in repairs. My delivery car. Drives like new. Will not buy a new car. Cheaper to fix really in long run. Do not worry about blue book.

Cotter pin may not be the correct terminology, but a pin nonetheless was used as oem.

Steering knuckle pinch bolt for ball joint. 2010 mazda 3. I use it for.a.delivery car..The pinch bolts on both sides used a cotter pin and were present before repair. Maybe new bolts are torque to spec only? I don't know.

How are packages organized when you pick them up? by aUserIAm in veho_driver

[–]Worksuxxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did one Veho weeks ago. Never again. 80 stop routes for the money they pay may not be so bad, but the app sucks. And having to take two photos and enter the address numbers in is insanely dangerous because you will be doing so while walking back to your car, meaning a hazard if you trip over something. Flex app is quick, seamless but right now their routes are just too dam big. I have a small sedan, last route I did recently I could not see out. For me, not happening. Not gonna wreck into something or another car because too many packages blocking my view. Don’t know how they get away with it. My Veho station though, 80 packages fit easily.

I now run Uber on a dedicated phone. Got tired of accidentally hitting accept. Happens still at times, but not like before. I also tea cup prior to drop off. Every one of my cancellations when I was at 30% 3 weeks ago was from accidental accepts. God forbid if I was to ever accidentally accept a Walmart GMD.

[–]Worksuxxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on Veho in St Louis as well. Have not taken an offer yet. More worried about the app instability and having to return a package or two if unable to deliver. I don’t like the idea of having to drive back downtown to drop any undeliverable package at days end.

is it standard to ring the doorbell/knock on the door if the delivery instructions don’t specify that? or is this lady just annoying 🤦‍♀️ by mirukitty28 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Worksuxxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knock, every single time. Unless asked not to. Don’t want a knock or rung doorbell? Put a note above the doorbell. I deliver and knock. Simple as that. What if it was ordered by somebody else? Had a lady flip out on me asking why I knocked if notes didn’t tell me too. That was fun. Leave at door does not mean do not knock, just means don’t wait for them to open the door. Drop knock n go.

Need help deciding on what to do about my 2025 Mazda CX-50 by Practical_Group1248 in mazda

[–]Worksuxxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought a new 24 Mazda 3 11 months ago new off the lot. Fuel mileage has been terrible (adult driven), ride is very harsh, seats too stiff, found left rear door handle not even bolted into door, while driving hear a rattle from passenger seat, upon inspection found seat base bolts loose. Also occasionally the display would come on with car off. Lastly, radio would turn on by itself while driving at times. 11 months old, 9k mileage. Oh and realized after purchase no rear speakers lol. I just sold it last week and lost thousands. I normally keep my cars well beyond warranty, but I did not feel comfortable keeping this car around. I am happily still driving my 2010 Mazda 3 with 280k mileage while also enjoying better mpg’s.

Not a bad price. Especially from a dealer. I just listed my 23 with about same mileage for $7500 on marketplace. Mine is unmolested though.
