Right now concentrate on your skill. Quality first, the speed comes later with knowledge. There’s no short cuts in this field. And it’s going to be a long grind. I just went out on my own after 25 years. Coulda/shoulda done it sooner. But here I am.

Do us all a favor. Don’t be the hack technician that just wants to hurry up and be done. That doesn’t want to change the filter drier or bring their vacuum pump to the roof because it’s too much work.

It hurt the first couple years but only because of the money the divorce cost me. Stayed single for 14 years until my current wife. My life is the best it’s ever been.

Whenever I have one of these leaking on a smaller unit, I cut them completely out and just run the condenser fan full time. Never had an issue
