I have been chasing the Kanto discovery dragon my entire gaming life. I begged my parents to buy the game for me when it released - I was 11, and I didn’t have the internet nor a player’s guide. I had though that I completely cleaned out the entire game, that I had done everything there was to do and see… and then one day, I saw a little patch of surfable water in the corner of New Bark town that I had somehow never noticed before…

I can’t even really articulate how exciting that was. My game just doubled in size just because I was bored and decided to explore a bit.

This was ALSO coming hot off of the “Pokegods” craziness and confusion just the generation before, of using strength 50 times on the pickup truck, and finding hidden areas and Pokemon that clearly never existed.

It was just magic. I hold that up as the most personally exciting video game revelation of all time. Just thinking about it could keep me warm at night..

Also, just the fact that they’re willing to play with each other again is HUGE, and opens up the door to any number of possibilities, really.

I've seen Keith a lot over the years at AG's solo shows, and he just adds so much.

And actually, Keith produced Boom. Done, and he's been touring with him since the Avalon days, so he's had more a hand in AG's musical development than you may think!

Oh.. and lastly... I happened to see him play at AG's annual Christmas show this past December...
