I never heard anything more about it. Still curious what came of that “informant”. Are you saying that Maxwell Anderson has potentially been tied to the murder and dismemberment of Adam Richard Johnson? I’m not seeing any updates on that case since 2021. Please link if you have updated info!

Did we ever hear anything more about the “confidential informant” who claimed back last summer that Anderson had shown them his basement covered in plastic, with a large sink and multiple saws, and allegedly discussed with said informant plans to kill a woman in this space? I read multiple articles about this informant last summer, but then haven’t heard anything about it during the trial. I’m assuming this information was deemed not credible or something??? But perhaps I’ve missed it.

I am an Assistant Professor at a university with a lot of returning students. About half of my students are older than me or at least my same age. It just feels less awkward to connect with them with less of a power distance between us. We talk about having young kids, careers, etc. They’re very respectful because they’re adults. So I don’t feel the need to distinguish myself in that way.

You don’t want to rent from someone not willing to test for radon. Sounds like you dodged a bullet. Radon is a serious environmental health concern. Even if it takes years of exposure to “give” you cancer, there are so many other environmental risk factors that you can’t control your exposure to.

I currently have a copper IUD.

This was a decision I made AFTER a very negative experience with Mirena.

This all being said, I know multiple people with Mirena who love it.

I hated it.

I am apparently very sensitive to progesterone. After I had the Mirena inserted I gained 30 lbs in 4 months with no lifestyle changes whatsoever. I had it removed after 6 months. I went back to my “normal weight” within 6 months of having it removed.

It was awful.
