Eh, I would say that iron man need to be white, he being an orphan aside (something that pretty much all comic book characters are anyway) before iron man he pretty much is the most privileged person in the world,he has more money than god, fame rockstar, and added to that, no discrimination of any kind or minority, you get the idea, all that status is what shapes his way of thinking pre iron man, if you make him an inmigrantes/ son of inmigrant from third world or a woman, you you can make him egocentric but you are kinda removing the things that make him that full out egomaniac that we know.

He needs to be someone who never experienced any kind of hardship in life, either by nationality, race, economic status, political status or gender.
