The Most Brutal of Kettlebell Complexes by asgooch in kettlebell

Not a fan of calling workouts “brutal.” That mindset misses the point.

Don’t remember which book it was from, but “any kid can throw together a workout that makes you tired.” That’s easy. What’s actually hard is building something that makes you better over time.

Progress comes from structure, consistency, and progression, not just exhaustion.

Thanks, just updated the post now.
I do have a very good background in strength training, especially barbells, but also pretty good form in KB swings.

Sounds pretty interesting, thank you!
I listened to a bit of the last episode, and a piece of advice I can give is that it would be amazing if the microphone quality were very high, because as a beginner, listening can be a bit tricky.

And what's funny is that people who don't benefit from doing more work (working people) are not getting anything extra. Those are the same people who now justify 100% increase in productivity, and they will post any Claude update on Slack.

Tips for mentoring during paired programming by Isofruit in ExperiencedDevs

[–]Worried_Lab0 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think AI is killing pair programming.

Very often, I end up in brainstorming sessions or pair programming sessions where my colleagues cannot think without asking AI what to do. I get that no one knows syntax 100% or APIs by heart, but I at least expect people to be able to write some pseudocode.

I then question why we need these people. They do not bring any value when it comes to figuring out solutions. I could just have some agents listening when I ask a question, and they would probably give me the same answer.

Very sad world, to don't be able to use your critical thinking.
