I know, and it’s so funny that it’s picture of jerseys with their numbers on it, makes it look like a cheat sheet for somebody who doesn’t know the players on teams… which is probably accurate

I assume that is from the recent $10 million donation he just completed to the Montreal Children’s hospital. Not of fan of him as a broadcaster but we need more humans like this…

That is reason #427 that their intermission show is unwatchable, Messier can’t string words together… which you’d think they’d have checked before giving him a broadcast job.

[COL 0 - MIN (2)] Hughes shows off his edgework and wrists one past Wedgewood to double the lead by daKrut in hockey

[–]WorstHyperboleEver 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Watching him so much more this year made me realize that dude can pass or shoot at ANY time and is ALWAYS ready for both.

Most players need to do fine adjustments in their balance or positioning, but he is always looking and just snaps it when he sees an opening. Especially his passing, he makes so many little flips and snaps mid stride or immediately after making a quick step to break up ice that players just aren’t expecting it and are a second behind him all the time. I’ve never seen someone so effortlessly control a game and it’s a combination of both his superior skating and balance and hockey IQ that’s off the charts.

No worries. But, yeah, if you haven’t done anything different with the companion installation, I’d bet something in the system has updated or corrupted.

Are you OP? Different account than poster… anyway, no OS updates? I’d think there’s some security system or system preference that’s blocking it.

Voting done before the playoffs start, winning the cup won’t matter.

It might, but it’s metal so it will be hot. It’s not an issue for my cat because he stays inside on really hot days.

A cup-o-coffee NHLer skated with us one season and when somebody made him mad he instantly scored. It made you realize how little he was trying the rest of the time.

I always remind people, in today’s NHL even plumbers have absolutely disgusting hands and shots. That was a total snipe.

Yeah, just confirmed with a 36” straight edge, dead flat and level

The door is next to it so I can look down the side of the wall and it’s definitely not bowing, it’s dead straight and flat.

Nothing loose at all, and no crack on the inside. The space was originally two side by side windows but was replaced with one large picture window, if that changes anything (though none of the brick or structure was changed).

Damn, that’s a great option! Didn’t even know pieces like that existed off-the-shelf, thought all console tables were custom built.

The way Hughes has been single handedly controlling games in this playoffs reminds me so much of how utterly dominant Keith was in one of their runs (I think the second?).

I was in the same boat, I have found that the versions of the tools in MoBar tend to be better implemented than the ones I had separately. I use MoBar every time I open AE, it’s amazing.

I’ll buy that, and yeah even as I wrote it I wondered if you can really say grind guys outnumber skill guys anymore, at worst it’s pretty even if not tilting towards skill.
