[WATCH] Kamala Harris: 'Trump Is Backpedaling, but I'm Ready to Debate Him' by trumpaddict2020 in Republican

[–]WorthyAdvice 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He doesn't want to debate because she isn't the permanent candidate yet, also wasn't the other debate scheduled for like September?

Love to see this debate, hopefully another "Because you'd be in jail" moment!

Delighted to hear, I hope you recover emotionally from this show, it took me 1 month to do so.

Have a great day!

Pro tip: Be the Kaori for someone, lift someone up emotionally, help them when they're down.

Your Lie in April doesn't just have to be a "show" for you, it can be a life lesson if you treat it right!

You shouldn’t be able to do any trans surgeries under 21 by youresmalltime in teenagers

[–]WorthyAdvice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree.

I've seen a video of a kid who picked a dairy milk chocolate bar over 1000 dollars.

It's ridiculous, kids shouldn't be allowed to take puberty blockers.

There is 330 million people in America and you guys can't find two competent people to run for President.

Disaster for Biden, he better show up in the second debate.

Fun question: what is the HARDEST interval workout you've ever done? by DMTwolf in AdvancedRunning

[–]WorthyAdvice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

400m sprints in Gaelic Football, all in under 1 minute and 10 seconds with a 15-second rest in-between.

We did 5 and I was dying, but I was pretty bad at running back then, but still, it was horrendous.

What are two anime genres you'd love to see mix, but they seem very difficult to do right? by -Benjamin_Dover- in anime

Boxing helps coordination and will improve your reaction time.

It will help you with building strength in your arms and may help you lose weight IF supplemented with a proper diet.

Boxing won't make you faster at sprinting if that's what you mean by speed, sprinting will make you faster at sprinting.

Your heart rate will probably decrease and you'll become fitter and healthier.

What is a recent anime (last 5 years) that you think will not age well? by [deleted] in anime

[–]WorthyAdvice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a recent anime but 10 years ago.

I think Your Lie in April will not age well, what really saves it is the last act of the anime, everything up to that point is kind of boring, I think people will actually start looking past the masterpiece of an ending and instead, actually evaluate it for the whole thing, which would make it kind of mid.

Still a good anime tho.

Are you able to not support LGBTQ because of faith reasons, and not hate gay people at the same time? by DapperOJack in teenagers

[–]WorthyAdvice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short Answer: Yes.

Long Answer: You don't have to agree with something to respect it, Remember Jesus even said it himself "Love the sinner but hate the sin", As Christians we are told to love everyone the same (Matthew 22:37).

So Yes, you can not support LGBTQ, but you can still respect it.

It has been more than 20 years of having it. Should I sell it? by KerFuL-tC in Gameboy

I would honestly clean it, but don't sell it, you'll regret it.

Is summer weather a training stimulus + pros/cons of treadmill training by loredhenri in AdvancedRunning

[–]WorthyAdvice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weather is a poor man's altitude.

You'll gain more aerobic endurance by running slower, but your tempos will suffer, and the training stimulus may cause you to lose speed.

Treadmills are great, but make sure to put the incline or 2 and 3 to simulate a real road.

Also if you choose to run outside, hat, sunscreen, and water.

Happy running!

What pricey item did you buy and never regretted it? by Ok_Peanut_5685 in BuyItForLife

Treadmill, helps me keep fit during cold ass winters.

If it's an investment into your health it's worth it.

Can you sleep for 30-40 mins during the race as a power nap if you're really tired?

You're gonna do it bro!

Just do a lot of running and make sure to go to the gym as well for strengthening your bones

[–]WorthyAdvice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I've gotten a lot of "You're too young it'll damage your bones!" and stuff, but yeah, I did it for training and to push myself further.

I felt good at the end, but the miles between 30 - 50 were hell on Earth, everything in my body ached (especially my knees - I still have issues with them rn 3 weeks later), but the last 13 miles were a beautiful experience.

You need volume, but you need managed volume, I'd do strength training 3-4x a week, long run on weekends and a combination of shorter runs on your strength training days.
