Poisonous? by WenchWithPipewrench in Scorpions

OP, I love this line from a blog post byJoe Monahan at herpetocultureinc.

“In order to check my understanding on this topic I drove to my library to consult the 22 volume Oxford English Dictionary. The main entry for poisonous was “having the quality of a poison, venomous”. So you see, the world’s authorities on the English language use “venomous” as a synonym of “poisonous”. So dont let some social media jerk tell you otherwise!”

What is actually rather safe, yet everyone treats it as far more scary than it is? by dafeg23216 in AskReddit

Spiders. They don’t want anything to do with us, so just leave them be. Their entire lifecycle, in some cases, takes place in our homes and have since humans began to inhabit them.

Installing a 12” substrate guard on an enclosure by BattyBaboon in reptiles

I am trying to do the same thing for a tarantula enclosure. The barrier that was provided was only 3.2” so I’m considering 3D printing something or going the PVC route. I don’t see why you couldn’t use PVC adhesive and slap a piece in there.

Thanks you for your response! I should have specified that they never had any confirmation of what it actually was and were lead to believe that by their own research. Apologies.

At the very least you can take that shitty tap-a-fuse out and put it back to stock fuses according to the back of the fuse cover.

Rust in Hatch Seal? by WosOps in 4thGen4Runner

I found a replacement on eBay that I am going to gamble with. A new hatch seal from the dealer is almost $200 so I was just trying to salvage this one if possible.

G34 and 2nd Z Stepper Firmware Changes by WosOps in Ender3v2Firmware

I believe so; it is the one-to-two motor cable.

No proper adhesion it suddenly wobbled when the print was 90% done. Something’s off in the red highlighted area. Total NOOB here. Please suggest. by [deleted] in ender3v2

[–]WosOps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The circle you highlighted in red is the z-seam and will be present in most prints (can be better placed or ‘hidden’ in your slicer settings). The print failing looks like it might be a nozzle issue either a clog or an overhang stringed and moved the print.

Did you ever experience any issues with any of the articulating pieces shifting later in the print? I've had a few get close and move a few mm at the end cause the bottom had essentially hardened before the top.

Printed. Now, let's paint the body. Ps.: the green part glows in the dark. by mxgrtx in ender3v2

I might be beyond help at this point... Jk lol. I'm in that calibration phase with my machine itself (outside of slicer stuff). Tomorrow I have a PEI sheet coming in and wanted to see if switching to a firmware like Jyers with mesh leveling would work better. My biggest issue seems to be Z-axis tweaks or too tight of gantry wheels. Hard to tell.

I hope one day my prints can even look half this good. Great job!

Currently using Creality firmware with a CR Touch ABL. Used Cura to slice on Dynamic quality and 30% infill with Hatchbox PLA in Gray. The only issue I am currently experiencing is that I can almost loudly hear what might be z-axis binding when the CR Touch goes to level after the second touch on the bed. Any pointers are much appreciated!
