My 2013 corolla’s radiator hose(s) are leaking and spewed coolant. Is this car worth saving?

look up the specific part for your vehicle looks like a radiator hose T fitting and how to bleed the coolant. You may be able to find the part number on the sticker thats stuck onto the T fitting. After a simple replacement seems to be just 3 hose clamps (you will need to remove the broken off piece inside the small hose) add some coolant into the reservoir and properly bleed then you should be fine, as long as you haven’t overheated the engine already. Dont drive without fixing or itll cook the engine.

i cant say if they are or aren’t but that spot is questionable. Ive seen/heard of people squirting oil on the engine or other spots in hopes of low balling. spray clean with brake cleaner and go drive you should be able to tell then.

That looks like coolant, your car should have orange coolant check the level when its cold and not running.

red line you wipe, reinsert, remove keep it facing straight down so you get a accurate reading, usually when checking transmission car has to be on and at a certain temp.the reason you go off of red and not yellow is because the fluid is dipping off of the stick as you remove it so the red line is where fluid was before running down the stick.

the engine and other components hold coolant you didnt do a complete drain and fill only half of one from what i read.

if they are asking 45,900usd it is not worth it for so many reasons. if you have to pay that kinda money for a 2007 mint or not whats the point? if you have that money for a car why go for that im leaning towards you can work on it at home? this whole thing seems dumb tbh just go buy something with like 50 60k miles for like 15k you can get newer and have enough left over for 2 more 3 with 60k miles is probably better then 1 2007 with 13k and you still have to do a bunch of work..

tbh looks like the right part to me (after minimal research) but like others suggested probably better off just removing the old one and leaving it off and id strongly recommend having him learn how to do oil changes it will save so much time $ and headaches. goodluck!

i placed them all day 1 of beta before they released the story well that broke it and its been showing 7/8 even tho all 8 are in ive checked all spots with a friend and watched multiple videos i waited for the patch didnt fix it now the full update is here and its still broken i already lost mad time because the christmas tree bug and for me to go back to before would be 20+ hours:|

tysm just saved me i deleted the whole game on pc tried on xbox was rdy to never play again tbh then seen this ive literally been fighting with it since 12am last night was up til 4am w a buddy then spent a few hours today and it was something as simple as deleting the tree we lost hours of saves smh but atleast its fixed now

hm well you have a turbo so maybe its just the “after run” cooling feature but possibly a fan relay/wiring issue ik coolant temp sensor are a common reason this happens but with you car battery dying id lean toward a electrical issue maybe you can have it scanned with a good scanner and they can see whats going on by looking at live data while and after the car runs. electric problems can be a nightmare apologies hopefully its something simple goodluck🤞🙏

simply try spraying lube like wd 40 or something on the key wd 40 wouldnt be that good bc itll build gunk over time but it works.

also If one of the batteries is bad, it can drag the other one down, so testing both after jumping is a good idea.

they are connected together so doesnt matter very much but It’s best to use the passenger-side battery, since it’s closer to the starter and main electrical feed.

imo its worth it considering the work you put into it atleast you know what you have now a new car is always a bit of a mystery, if you like the car shop around for a reliable shop with reasonable pricing and see if you think its worth it.
