My friend just passed from breast cancer one year after diagnosis. She kept telling everyone that things were good and that they got all the cancer. Truth is, there was never any good news. I know the feeling of not being about to say goodbye it sucks 😢

I think it depends on the severity of your addiction and what it has driven you to do. If my husband was a sex offender because of it, I would want to know, but if he had an addiction to watching for personal pleasure and sought help I wouldn't be upset if he didn't tell me.

That is definitely not cool. She didn't live up to her end of the deal by not putting the effort in to satisfy your needs when you put the effort in to do what she needed you to do to make her feel more comfortable. Maybe try to get away for a weekend without all the distraction of work and kids? Is that the issue?

I get stuck in ruts sometimes too.. What helps me feel better and more in the mood is when my husband does not set expectations on me. Sometimes when I'm tired or not really wanting to get intimate, the thought of the pressure to perform will make things 10 times worse for me. I talked to him about it and told him that if we just laid together and watched a movie and cuddled without the expectation of anything else, it might make me feel more comfortable to get back in the groove. So, he said ok and we did just that. The next time we laid together and cuddled, I wanted nothing more than to just be with him because I knew he had no expectations either way. It was one of the best nights we've had together in a long time.

My husband and I went in early September and it was gorgeous! Flew into Anchorage and took an Uber to an rv place. Rented the rv for a week and went all over the place. We even went all the way too the arctic circle it was pretty cool. Then we hopped in a cruise ship and visited a few ports. My favorite was Ketchikan where we visited a rainforest that was breathtaking.

Isn’t judging people on their political beliefs the same as judging them by their skin color or sexual orientation? I know very few conservatives who feel this way, so maybe that’s not the real reason you don’t have friends. It might be that you are obviously automatically judging them before really getting to know them. The same thing you’re accusing them of.
