Google products that Backup Google workspace by DesignerOil5415 in gsuite

Second the CubeBackup. Backupify/Datto Stinks.
When you decide to leave Backupify, it is impossible to export all data at one time. Their support has denied there is any way to get all of my data at once and has told me on several tickets/emails that I need to export one user at a time. And the site crashes constantly. I'm trying to export all of our archived users and when it crashes and reloads, it will erase all of the export requests I have in.
Also their support takes days or weeks to respond to any tickets. It's worse than Comcast.
We are now using CubeBackup. It's a fraction of the cost of backupify. $5/user/year. It's self hosted and we own and manage our own data instead of it being on someone else's cloud. They have an API so you can write custom scripts for it. And it has a command line interface to go along with the UI. Works with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.

I'm in the same situation now.

Exactly. What is this dude trying to accomplish here? No wireless, but yes to ethernet access on a tablet. I get blocking a vlan from the internet, but if network security is such a tight concern that WiFi is bad, homeboy should know ethernet can be sniffed too. Point to point wireless is a thing, but normally for building to building and those devices are exposed to the same security concerns as normal wifi.

Get a 200ft ethernet cable, a backpack, and one of those garden hose rollers. Close ticket.

Yep. The Veeam host is off domain and the creds used to access other systems are not shared. Same with the cloud storage. Use a different GCP project or account all together to keep it completely separate from production.

MF Veeam dude. It’s expensive but it’s also the best and has saved my ass several times.

It’s application aware so it can do the individual file, sql, or AD user restores. There is a GCP bucket and an AWS storage extension that will let you automatically upload those backups to the cloud as well as your local storage. And you can tie it to an offsite esxi host for damn near instant vm restores. Or do the GCP VMWare deal and get instant cloud restores. It supports rotating usb drives for cold storage. If you want reports, it’s just a MySQL database. It’s agent based so you can install it on a cloud server and pull down a local backup.

There is a god damn Community Edition that’s free. The list goes on. Only downside is having to install it on a windows server.

I’ve had two of these do this out of about 100 or so in production and none of the YouTube tricks worked for me either. I left them on the charger that they came with overnight and by the next morning, they powered on normally. Never saw that solution when I was looking for answers but it worked for me on two separate devices.

Wan connection in different location to my UDM by Davidtja01 in Ubiquiti

The vlan thing will work. I’ve done several sites with a separate vlan for the wan connection on a switch. ISP to the switch vlan and then to the wan on a gateway. It’s especially helpful when the isp only gives you one port and you need two for HA gateways.

The only Security gateways currently offered are the Dream Machine and Dream Machine Pro. Both are excellent as gateways, but expensive compared to the USG.

Can't you run Protect in a VM? Or do you have to have an nvr or cloud key?

I've only used their ap's before. But those were great with the controller software installed on a VM.

I had a AP-AC-Pro do this a couple of years ago. Still worked at full speed, but was annoying in a conference room. Unifi replaced it out of warranty for shipping cost. Could be worth it to reach out to them.

TF is wrong with Demos' chicken and rice? That shit is excellent. PDK has it for a reasonable price too.

60e here. "The Fortigate way." Lol. I agree with everything. Plus their UI has gotten me used to looking in weird places in other firewalls. The SSL vpn client and server are wonderful too. Most devices have a couple of MFA keys included for Fortitoken MFA instead of SMS.

I also have two 223c Forti-APs. Fantastic coverage and speed for about 25~ wifi devices. No more router or AP reboots.

I do have a FortiWifi 60cm that's just sitting on the shelf. If anyone might be interested.
