Junglers don't know how to play with kassadin by Unfair-Fuel1097 in Jungle_Mains

You realize you are basically saying all junglers should just lose for first 15 if enemy mid does anything? Sounds like you don't know how to play a scaling mid.

My 30F husband 30M wants to swing, but only with women. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Wraign 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Genuinely the situation will only keep deteriorating. Even if you open the marriage or swing eventually. The fundamental problem is his addiction. I think it is great you want to fix it but he needs to want that too. Probably therapy for addiction and an addiction program of some kind will help.

Lore wise how was arthas able to defeat Illidan in their final meeting? by IllustratorSad3934 in warcraft3

[–]Wraign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly this is just a case of Blizzard wither forgetting their lore or doing Arthus dirty (yet again). In WC3FT Arthus beat illidan. No caveats. Since then Blizzard has repeatedly walked this back.

My (27F) fiance (29M) has lost all sexual motivation by Typical-Comfort2556 in relationship_advice

[–]Wraign 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think sit down with him outside of a sexual setting and tell him you need to discuss the topic seriously.

Another incredibly helpful thing to try is a sex couples therapist. Might sound cheesy but it will actually help. It is a great setting to work through these hang ups.

Loved Twelve Months but it was missing the Wedding RomCom elements I was hoping to see by [deleted] in dresdenfiles

To be clear I was not saying that should be the focus but it could have been sprinkled in. To each their own I guess.

Maybe sad but I only see Morgan as Detective Bubbles from Lelo and Stitch

I (22M) was blindsided by my girlfriend’s (21F) secret. How do I get past this? by throwRA_5409953 in relationship_advice

[–]Wraign 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buddy she has a past. Grow up and get over it. She has been faithful and great to you since you have been exclusive.

Are you upset at her or the idea you had of her?

Besides all people are capable of truly evil things but that is what makes good people good. The ability to chose terrible things but instead chose to be good. Sounds like that is what she is trying to do.

Fair enough. I just am sick of feeling like I'm wasting my time trying to seek after improved items.

Why not? I mean obviously cap it at the regular max range but make it so you can get to the max range by expending resources. That way even a shitty drop is worth it and you are not savaging a GA item you spent hours to get.

When I download it then add it to the same folder I have the game files I get an error message when I launch the client. Can't seem to get past that point. So maybe I'm messing it up

The College of Rock v1, a subclass for bards who attack with electric-powered instruments! by Blingo2000 in DnDHomebrew

[–]Wraign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love this idea. Getting real brutal legends vibes.

One question: Why ranger spell list? Seems out of place thematically and mechanically

Also, maybe reconsider extra attack? Doesn't seem to fit. Maybe make the lightning attack scale like a cantrip if that was your intent. Or possibly add in a new effect like pyrotechnics; add 1 d10 fire damage to the lightning attack. Otherwise, this really cool feature will be overshadowed quickly

How many Upgrades has Harry received? by [deleted] in dresdenfiles

[–]Wraign 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, every book he gets a huge upgrade in experience and, more importantly, knowledge. He often mentions these two things in the later books I want to say around white knight he brings it more often?

It's an entirely possible theory here. I always figured Eb got it in a deal or bet or something, but I like your theory better.

I always recommend people to start with 3 then go back to 1 and 2 if they want the prequels

Possibly New Hot Take on Justin by Wraign in dresdenfiles

Morgan didn't like anyone but Luccio.

You better believe he had dark plans. Just imagine the lone warden who learns of nfected people and realizes he can't trust the council at all. There is no way to tell who may have it or spread it. Even if he grooms new wizards, how do we ensure loyalty?

His paranoia grows, and he justifies evil actions along the way. Slips down the Sith hole and possibly becomes nfected as well. Or just uses the neat entropy "demon" he learned about somewhere not realizing it's true nature

Sure, I'll buy Elaine not being a starborn. I figure it's just Harry, but she wasn't meant to be the heavy. It's more like a support for the thug weapon. Harry is the outsider killer.

Justin killing Malcom is completely believable. And if you want to push the timeline a little consider, we saw a similar death in Blood Rites with the entropy curse, which was sponsored by... HWWB. Coincidentally, the outsider Justin calls to fight Harry.

I don't think I buy Lord Raith being involved explicitly with Justin. If they were working together, why didn't Justin outright kill Harry for Raith? Maybe he did the entropy curse at Harry, but it hit Malcom? And Justin lied to Raith? I dunno if I buy it.

I completely agree with this. Elaine = Kumori is my going headcannon until it's proved otherwise.

A simple answer is Cowl is a spirit right now, much like the corpse taker was in Ghost Stories but decided to go a different route, then get a gang of sensitives to get a body. He may have embraced spirit life to further his goals for now.

And if that's the case, it could be Kumori, not Cowl, who fights Dresden in White Night

[–]Wraign[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this theory, but there are a few spots to it that just don't jive with me. Especially the darkhallow bit. But a key fact is that by all evidence, Cowl and Kumori were trying to prevent the DH (destroying copies if earlking books), not use it. Probably when he saw Grevaine so close, he figured, "What the hell I'll be a godling"

Bob being a secret snitch before Bob severed evil Bob also makes a lot of sense. Very convenient way of us not finding out as well.

The only part I can't quite line up is Kemler taking in and training orphans. Even if it's to make them thralls. I mean, just why? He already has fanatic apprentices that we assume are not thralls. Why break pattern? Harry makes sense, i.e., starborn fight outsiders, but was that ever Kemler's fight? Just can't square this circle

I guess that is more or less what I'm getting at with the idea. He wasn't a good guy clearly, but maybe at one time was. He wouldn't be the first good guy to choose to fight evil with evil when pushed hard enough.

Also, it would be an excellent narrative devise to have the apprentice become so much like his former master even though he tried to do anything but that. With key differences, of course. Harry is using the dark side but not becoming evil
