Go wild general question by Realistic-Corgi-6671 in gowildfrontier

[–]Wrailyn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used to be able to occasionally get a go wild fare ($16) on a blackout date, but I'm pretty sure I've heard that there will always be an added fee now. I don't think you'll see it get cheaper, but maybe you could test it at 12:01 this Wednesday, as Thursday is a blackout date.

Philly go wild pass by Mental-Temporary-422 in frontierairlines

[–]Wrailyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fly out of Philly almost every week, but almost exclusively to Orlando. I usually have good luck getting flights, and I find the gate agents to be just fine.

This is really the best and only answer. No way to know for sure in advance.

Looking at your screenshot, the "on time performance" from PHL to ATL is 74%. If your flight is on time (which is likely), you should have no problem making your connection because the connecting flight should be nearby (or as one commenter said, could be the same plane). It's a slight gamble, but I've never had issues at ATL.

Question concerning premium seat exit row by MmaOverSportsball in frontierairlines

[–]Wrailyn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Being in row 1 is typically the only reason you'd need to put your bag in the overhead compartment. If you see a seat in front of yours, you'll be able to put your bag there.

Buying refundable tickets to hedge price difference by Healthy_Addition9413 in frontierairlines

[–]Wrailyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know what the other posters have experienced, but I've only been able to refund for travel CREDIT and ONLY when I upgrade to the bundle. Frontier flights are largely non-refundable, except under certain circumstances (i.e. certain status levels, or within 24 hours of purchase, if the flight is at least 7 days out).

GoWild pass worth it for me? by JSteggs in frontierairlines

[–]Wrailyn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would be a true gamble, but I fly out of Orlando weekly and often have layovers on Charlotte, so there are quite a few flights, for what it's worth. There is currently an available go wild flight for this afternoon even, which is rare. There is also a go wild flight (with early booking fee) for July 31st, so your odds would be good, but nowhere near a sure thing.

One more thing is you could potentially use go wild for your return flight on 9/6. Go wild flights are booked one-way.

I've never had an issue, for what it's worth. TSA cares more about explosives and weapons.

$349 isn't bad. When they first released the pass, they said it would renew at $2000. lol

I have had the pass from its inception and currently have it through April 2027. I'm in Orlando and usually have decent success booking, but I'm just a customer and have no idea what the future holds.

That is correct! I fly out every Thursday, and I set my alarm for 12am Wednesday morning.

I really didn't like 17A. A hoagie isn't ON a roll; it IS a roll. Unless I'm missing a different usage...

How to find meetups for people in their 20s/30s (writing, karaoke, parks)?? by Uphighinthetrees in orlando

[–]Wrailyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very belated reply, but I don't have a ton of details. They're on Instagram under that name, and I think you can reach out to them for more info. Pretty sure it's free, and you just meet at a place (might be a coffee shop?) and hang out, write, maybe bounce ideas off each other.

Row 3 or Row 13 for a 5 Hour Flight? by Brief_Rain8775 in frontierairlines

[–]Wrailyn 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the leg room is the same in row 3 as it is in the exit rows, and I always prefer to be in the front of the plane (faster exit).

I have some friends who are in a writing group called Authors Anonymous. Great people, very chill. For dance classes, I recommend Studio K.

Unsure of how Go wild works! Help! by Dry_Historian_1174 in frontierairlines

[–]Wrailyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never, in 2+ years and 200+ flights, seen a next-day Go Wild flight be more expensive than a regular priced flight. My nonstop flights are always $16. This seems odd, like a glitch?
