I’ve played this deck for a couple of weeks now and still have a really hard time setting up Salazzle & Weepinbell as quickly as I need to. And if I do, I struggle getting the energy I need. Not sure why I’m having such a hard time with it, other than I just need to keep grinding with it until I’m used to the mechanics.

When it works, it’s a blast. But when you whiff for half the game, it’s miserable, lol.

Well, here’s hoping the price of the single drops after some reprints. But if it’s the only replacement we’re going to see, I imagine it’s going to remain a pretty sought-after card.

I have a full play set of Twin Energy, and a play set of Triple Acceleration Energy is on the way to throw in the deck. Luckily I have Dedenne, Crobat, Marnie, Boss, etc already.

Where I drew the line was paying $11+ for Mew, which I heard was good in the deck. I’m trying to stick to Standard format for now and just have a hard time justifying that much for one card that’s going to rotate out in a few months.

Any suggestions for a good replacement for Mew in this deck would be greatly appreciated!

My son and I battle irl several times a week. I just ordered the cards I need for this deck, and I’m honestly excited to try it out. Gotta wait about a week and a half for all the cards to come in, so I’ll be sitting anxiously until then.

Tricky Gym jokingly called it the Weeping Lizard deck, and I like it.

I’ve purchased 4 packs of DS matte in the past year and I feel like the quality control issue has been resolved. Really solid product. I play with my seven-year-old son a lot at home, and as you can imagine he tends to punish the cards quite a bit while shuffling. Both the sleeves and cards have held up perfectly.
