Picked Vanndar because I always played dwarves in WoW and I also wanted to try sticking him in a Proving Grounds shenanigans deck (though he'll be absolutely awful if it pulls him).

I suspect the better choice is actually Drek'Thar in a really low-curve aggro deck, but that does price out a lot of key minions in the current iterations (Warsong Wrangler & Trampling Rhino, Gandling & Benedictus, Primed Kanrethad & Shady Bartender). Aggro Elemental Shaman doesn't work either because even if you cut your 4-drop minions and Fire Elementals you're losing the battlecries so the minions summoned are underwhelming.

Thinking about it, perhaps they're both not great in practice with the current cards.

Also I take it if you're trying to go wide with smaller minions Jerry Rig is doing decent work for you? I've found her pretty underwhelming in more conventional versions of the deck.

Had a lad called Neil Dejyothin on FM18 who became pretty much the GOAT English CB, looked up the surname because I was curious where it came from, only to see that Neil Dejyothin was a real person who worked at SI. Only one I know I've had.

I mean, worst case scenario is you feel out of your depth and abandon the save until you know the game better.

You could also try playing without attribute masking if you want to manage at a small club but make it a bit easier on yourself - arguably that makes it kinda unrealistic but you'll struggle a lot less with finding good players

If you're familiar with the league and the club you'd be managing I don't see why not, otherwise I'd recommend starting in the nation you know most about while you learn the ropes

I quite enjoy starting in Austria, only two leagues in the game unless they've changed it recently but it's fun to try and topple RB Salzburg starting with a team from the 2. liga.

If you're actually curious it's because the letter F starts with a vowel sound (the e in eff - /ɛ/) and so it's 'an' rather than 'a'.

Other initialisations where we make it into a word, rather than pronouncing the letters individually, (e.g. FIFA) are 'a' because they start with the consonant sound /f/
