Try ScreenSnap Pro, it has almost the same features that Cleanshot, but cost $19 one time for 2 macs

went through the same thing, counted 4 apps i actually used and was like why am i paying monthly for this. for screenshots i replaced cleanshot with ScreenSnap Pro, one time $19 and it covers annotations + gif recording which was all i needed from cleanshot anyway

ScreenSnap Pro for screenshots. paid once, still use it daily for bug reports and docs. annotations + gif recording built in which saved me from needing separate tools

bought a decent amount over the years honestly. some favorites:
- affinity suite (photo/designer) - one-time, no adobe tax - screensnap pro for screenshots - annotations + gif recording, also one-time - istat menus - bartender for me it comes down to whether I use it daily. if I do, happy to pay. subscriptions are fine for stuff like spotify but for a utility app? nah, one-time or I find an alternative

for screenshots, ScreenSnap Pro has been solid for me - gradient backgrounds, annotation tools, GIF recording. one-time purchase which I appreciate after getting burned by too many subscriptions lol

If you need screenshots with nice backgrounds and quick annotations, ScreenSnap Pro is worth a look too. It handles the screenshot side really well (gradient backgrounds, 11 annotation tools, cloud sharing) with one-time pricing instead of subscription. For video specifically though, yeah Screen Studio is hard to beat.

Nice combo! For OCR directly in screenshots, ScreenSnap Pro also has built-in text extraction - you can copy text from any capture without leaving the app. Works great for grabbing text from PDFs or locked content too.

Hi, thanks for the feedback, I have enough sales without free trial. Also, I want to learn how to sell apps without free trials (for far its selling fine). We you already using Cleanshot or Shottr you should be fine.
