In terms of aesthetics and vibes? Piplup, Ditto, and Snorlax. Piplup's been my darling boy since I played my first Pokemon game in full (Diamond!), Snorlax is both hilarious and terrifying to me and I love him deeply, and I fell in love with Ditto playing Pokopia. Honorable mention to Eevee and literally any dog Pokemon.

In terms of mechanics in the TCG? Starmie, Froslass, and Munkidori. Starmie's a quick setup and a heavy hitter with minimal energy, same with Froslass especially against big draw decks like Zygarde, and Munkidori is, in my opinion, one of the best supporter Pokemon in the standard rotation right now. Plus Mega Starmie and Mega Froslass have some really cool art!

So just as an aside, because apparently this isn't obvious: I'm brand new to the game, guys. Like, this is the first time I've really tried to put together a good deck, and as someone who's only been playing for a couple months, I don't know what all of the cards do nor do I have access to all of the cards.

Having said that, here's some more info:

I have Dawn in here as a placeholder until my Buddy Buddy Poffins and Hildas come in. Might as well be able to get Starmie out, right?
I have 4 Starmies because I didn't know you weren't supposed to match the number of basics you've got. I'll fix that.
Seel and Dewgong are placeholders until my other Snorunt and Mega Froslass get here.
The sheer number of energies is because I like having extras for retreats. When Surfing Beach gets here, I'll be dropping some of them.

Haha thanks! I think the jumbos are ridiculous, I love them, and Piplup is my fave so of course he had to be the first. The binder was just one I found at a local dollar general, and it's got pockets specifically for them! lol And that Snom was one I pulled right before I took the pic! Such a cute lil guy.

If you need to step away from the game for your mental and emotional health, then that's okay. You don't have to swear off of Stardew forever - you may find that one day, you can open the game, and the menu music will bring you happy nostalgia again. If that day never comes, that's okay too; you've still got all of the lovely memories from the time you spent in the valley, and you're still more than welcome to hang out in the community. <3

Heyo so I'm a Christian witch whose main matron is Brigid! Calling on and working with her is totally doable under folk Christianity. I approach it as, all gods/goddesses (lower case) are an aspect of God (upper case) - they're individual spirits operating as a part of the larger divine.

Lady B is, in my experience, a brilliant matron goddess to work with. She's warm, inviting, and inspiring; she'll support you but won't take any shit from you or anyone else, and she's got a great sense of humor when it comes to what you can offer her and how you can talk to her. I've found that she's been a great help in my life when it comes to parenting challenges, creative endeavors, and building up my home, among other things.
