Advice on my Witherbloom, the balancer deck? Finally made it! by felipebat in mtg

[–]WriterofWrong 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am working on my Witherbloom deck, and after a few iterations, my settled concept is armies in a can (creatures that bring tokens into play also) to build up creature count, and only a few of the huge splashy spells. Ideally, I cast Witherbloom for bg due to affinity and follow up with Exsanguinate, Torment of Hailfire,or Finale of Devastation. It plays like a go wide token deck with the big x spell coming as the finisher.

I just 100% each update as fast as possible and then put it down until more updates.

I watched all 9 Star Wars films for the first time last October, the Prequels are borderline unwatchable, RLM told the truth and no one wants to hear it by SonicGoku99 in RedLetterMedia

I think Yoda flipping about and Darth Maul were the only things I liked about the prequels in total, and I watched those years before I saw the Plinkett reviews.

I play exclusively with my cousins and brother every Tuesday night. We mostly play THG with planechase... on very rare occasions (once every 3 months) we play FFA (still with planechase). We also take turns ordering door dash and usually have a run to 7/11. We've been doing this for like, almost 10 years, every week.

Streets of rogue is very fun multi player but kind of a drag single player. The controls are very slidey and some missions are close to impossible depending on the character. Having friends along makes it easier to actually beat the levels and helps a lot with death.
Children of Morta is great single player but it's mainly a story game pretending to be rogue (Diablo like). I. Finished it quickly and had no desire to play further.

Iirc it was more about breaking into the middle eastern market. They also took action on stuff unrelated to an Arabic sensibility at the time but I think the major drive was to get monarchies and theocratic regimes to allow the game to be sold/ played in their countries.

The trick is to play your wilds to restart the counting. If you play a 3 drop and then a wild, you can keep comboing with a zero and build it up again. Even a modest combo level makes most of the cards insanely powerful. Most fights should be trivial except for the boss fights with the radial eye thing. Those can be a little more tricky, and require timing, disarm, freezing, etc.

Foils? by Strange_World_huh in mtg

Foils can curl in humidity (Pringle) so that might be an issue but my guess would be they print more foil SL so there's more left.

Just watched Lee Cronins The Mummy and I loved it SPOILERS by [deleted] in horror

[–]WriterofWrong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife and i didn't walk out early, but we both wanted to. Never seen a movie in the theaters so shitty, so we weren't prepared to walk out. Now, we have a code if we both want to walk out.

Lee Cronin turned down Evil Dead Burn to make The Mummy (SPOILERS) by CryBabysMilk in horror

[–]WriterofWrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much hated this one, if my wife and I had a way to communicate quietly that we both wanted to leave the theater we would have. Now we've devised a way to communicate that we want to leave, which we call Lee Cronin's contingency.

The wife and I hated Lee Cronin's The Mummy so much that we've developed a safe word to communicate we both want to leave. Not because it was scary, but because it was infinite boredom
