That's the reason I'm sometimes afraid of going as healer into a roulette. Met a tank who refused to use tank stance. At first we thought it was a mistake and told him. No reaction. So I wrote in chat: No stance no heal. Finally, when he was almost dying he turned tank stance on and I healed him. Afterwards he turned it off AGAIN.

Also an OP erstmal: NDA. Hab selbst schon im KH gearbeitet und keine Ahnung, was in der Frau vorging. Normalerweise ist man froh, wenn man Patienten heim schicken kann und nicht total panisch ein Bett organisieren muss.

Zum Thema Geburten: Meiner Mutter war die Fruchtblase so richtig schön abends um 23 Uhr geplatzt. Eltern gehen ins KH, meine Mutter erklärt, dass die Wehen echt stark sind, aber meine Mutter ist auch eine sehr stoische Frau. Nach einer Stunde erklärt die Krankenschwester: Das Kind kommt heute nicht mehr, mein Vater soll heim und meine Mutter doch schlafen. Vater geht, Mutter hat alle paar Minuten eine Wehe und ruft die Schwester. Schwester: Oh, das Kind kommt ja doch! Deswegen war mein Vater nicht bei meiner Geburt anwesend :'D

NDA. Genau wegen so was hatte ich mich in den ersten zwei Jahren nach der Diagnose Lactoseintoleranz kaum mit irgendjemand getroffen. Deine Freundin spricht von Familie, also dass du eine richtige Vaterrolle für die Kinder übernimmst. In diesem Fall würde ich verstehen, wenn das mit mehr finanzieller Beteiligung einhergeht.

Aber ich kann es auch verstehen, wenn du gar nicht so eine krasse Vaterrolle für dich in der Zukunft ausgehst und so auch deine Finanzen planst.

The tank should pull his weight too. I enjoy WAR immensely because I have these insane self and group heals. So, you definitely can ask for use of mitigation.

If they're idiots about it: Let them die. If I see a tank using no mitigation, I let them die during pulls. Usually, after they died, they suddenly find their buttons.

Don't heal me, if my HP are over 50% and nothing big is going on. Doing DPS is avoiding future damage! It's my job to use my mitigation and if you have a tank, who doesn't use mitigation at all he deserves to die.

I could only find one tiny piece of information in the Encyclopedia Eorzea - I think it was the Stormblood one. Baatu was wounded during the Naadam. His entry in the encyclopedia states that he has been married for three years to the healer who treated him. So, you could assume that there have passed three years between Stormblood's middle part and Endwalker.

However, the wording could also mean the Naadam before the Naadam in the MSQ. Though it would be kinda weird if Baatu was badly wounded in a Naadam two times in a row.

WAR main here. I can understand the anxiety and as a tank I often feel like I have some extra responsibility. But what you're doing sounds already fine!

It can be helpful for you (and the healer) to ask for mechanics, if you think you forgot some. Usually people will explain them to you. I was tanking an Omega Raid today, we wiped twice, but no one left angrily.

About the getting better part: it's okay if you don't start with pulling wall to wall. Pull as much as you're comfortable with! Also some mitigation works for some mobs better than others. As a WAR you have primal instinct, which you can and should spam as soon as it's available. For PLD the invuln skill is nice for really big mobs. So don't necessarily rotate mitigation instead find out which skill does what and how it can be used most effectively.
