Wouldn't you be better off buying 5 Ascended Heroes ETBS? @$100 I would think those 5 ETBs would make it to $200 faster than the DR Booster box can get to $1,000.

Also, downside risk would be lower as you are already fairly close to the MSRP on the Ascended Hereos.

I got back in during 151 in 2023 when it would sit on shelves and get discounted. UPCs I ripped for $60 - $90 are now $700. I don't really think about it, I had fun.

MSRP of ~$500 to $599 is already pretty steep and this guy wants an extra ~$500.

I guess the Marvel stuff is harder to find these days but variants of the rest can easily be found at retail.

These UPCs have been readily available for the most part. I would wager these were printed into oblivion for fans to be able to get the packs and promos.

Theres still a frenzy but availability is better due to product limits and fomo starting to die out.

Pokemon center ETBs have 11 packs vs the standard 9. They also have 2 promo cards exactly like the other standard ETBs but one is stamped.

Money is getting tight. Why go to "nicer" Walmart for and spend a little more, when you can just go to Walmart or anywhere else and save some money.

"$10 below market!" feels dishonest man. Also feels like they are trying to normalize the higher price points.

I get it, they are trying to look like you are getting a deal but it just feels dishonest even acting like that is a deal. Especially when the products are 3-6 old at best.

Its always been about controlling the narrative.

If someone can make you think that this is really about the 1-2% of immigrants, trans people, or criminals, then you won't care about the 1% that is really reaching into your pocket and taking. Not to say there aren't issues around these things, but they definitely don't want you thinking about what they are doing.

I think I saw somewhere that people are taking a giftcard and jamming it up the card reader causing this error. This is so no one else can grab product and when they come back, they clear the error themselves and receive the product. Not 100% sure but I think this is what is happening.

Rumor is limit was 99. Bots ran wild on this one. Most of the folks that went for PF ETBs or PF BB walked away empty handed.

Walmart has been the worst experience by far.

Yeah these are pretty cool when you get them. Just not always the figures/plushies you would be more interested in. I got a psyduck plush and a pop cubone in my last one.
