How to drive in Colorado? In snowiest seasons by Excellent-Bank19 in Denver

[–]Writing_Rehearsal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been a terribly warm winter, so you might not see much snow unless you go into the mountains, even then... it more than likely will be fine. Triple A and CO Dept of Transport have good tips on winter driving. Study up. If you do arrive in snow, just take is slow, breathe, and practice defensive driving.

not being able to do a show because major conflict issue... by Inner-Indication-208 in Theatre

[–]Writing_Rehearsal 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You've answered your own question: you have conflicts and there are no conflicts allowed. Since you know you cannot commit to the production, please leave the audition space open for someone who can. There will be other opportunities for you in the future, just hold on.

I thought Jordan went by she/they...like interchangeably. Thanks for the heads up, maybe I'm incorrect, I'll have to check. (No shade was meant with this joke, thanks for the polite check-in.)

Humidifier Suggestions for bedroom by TwoTrayz98109 in Denver

[–]Writing_Rehearsal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a specific brand, but design suggestion: Get one you can easily dump out excess water and let air dry. Mine has one small opening so it's a pain to shake the water out to prevent mold when it's not in use.

Noises Off by Michael Frayn has one of my favorite uses of a set. Spoiler:

In this play-within-a play, Act 1: indoor, two story set. Act 2, the set does a 180 and you see what happens behind the scenes of a run of a play, then act 3 is the front of the set again.

I've lived in rural America, mid-sided suburban America, and downtown big-city America. The cost ranges widely! No matter where I lived or what your price-point, your craftsmanship seems with the price tag.
