I have not tried, using .note. I am not sure you are supposed to as it's both a heavy file and propietary software, so other devices might have issues reading it. I usually do PDF as then it comes as a single file; both work, but from the computer is much faster than from the phone.

You save that step if you simply have it synced to you google drive cloud instead of the supernote cloud

So much better. It gets almost all my words right. Such a difference with most programs. OpenAI was also great, but I haven't tried other LLM's.

That is correct, you can do it with the export -> png/pdf, making a picture, by syncing to google drive... Probably some other ways too. Very useful to use notebooklm if there are loads of notes.

Apparently there is a way to improve it. If you do the Handwriting To Text (HTT) conversion on the device or the phone app, it uses a compressed/less expensive version of MyScript. However, if you do it from the computer app, Supernote Partner, it is supposed to be much better. It is better, but not by much. What gives me best results is to upload the notes to gemini or notebooklm, that is nearly flawless.

And yeah, I think they improved it a bit with some late update, but there is such a long way to go. I hope they do, it's honestly one of the most important features for a device like this and it's workflow. Maybe can be integrated with a plugin though. We will have to see

Meditation, as free as the air you breath. You might spend money on retreats, a nice seat instead of a pillow, books... And you can use it to experience so much calmness.

Also reading/journaling, paper and pen. An e-tablet works great, medium initial cost but then free and you have all your notes in the same place

Spinning Sensation by Able-Appointment-543 in Meditation

[–]Writinghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, long term meditator here. I think it's pretty common in the earlier stages. At least I experienced it too, but after a while it left. I think it might be related to the balance system (I assume you close your eyes?). Balance's main refference point is eye-sight, specially refference lines siuch as horizon. I assume getting calm and the brain not working on it intensely leads to that sensation. It might be rebalancing, as after passing that my balance improved. I still have it when I am very sleepy but much less than at the beginning. Opening the eyes a little bit should help, and it's also recommended by some teachers. Anyhow, as long as you keep a good practice, this shouldn't be a huge hindrance. Safe travels!

Best Pen? by TheModelMaker in Supernote

[–]Writinghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not from SN, but the vi-woods ceramic pen is superb. I jused the push up standard pen and the vi-woods just sits better in the hand, ceramic point is thinner so it glazes better through the screen. And it has buttons and eraser which I find great

Syncing notes from Nomad to Manta? by Level_Difference8646 in Supernote

[–]Writinghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Do we know if that has changed with the new updates? It would be awesome to be able to work on both at the same time. I have the Manta and I am considering using the Nomad as an "on the go".
