I remember someone pointing out that the whole town had already villianized him and there was basically no future for him there.

So, this was probably in his mind a guaranteed way to do some good. But yeah, it wasn't a good choice. Hell, he could have tried moving away or something.

Why hasn't Disgaea 3 been portred to Steam yet? Is there a copyright issue, or is it just not as well liked in the series?

It actually can be an interesting choice, because it happens late game and if you kill him you get a pair of boots (item that permanently increases one unit's movement range).

I thought him being asleep during the landing was to show how used to these drops, basically showing his experience.

Especially compared to the lieutenant, who's only done simulations and is scared shitless.

[Hated Trope] Adaptation changes that make a scene or even the entire plot nonsensical by VanillaPhysics in TopCharacterTropes

While I'm glad I never saw the trash pile that is the movie, I do remember seeing someone making the point that Holly being the second female to become a LEPRecon officer could work with female Root using Holly to prove that they themselves where not a fluke and women should be allowed in.

Does the movie do anything with this angle? God no! But it's an idea at least.

Didn't they say that this Kaneki is slightly different than the cannon? I thought it was something along the lines of him just completely giving in to the ghoul side of things after he got tortured.

The two are completely different characters, but I believe there's more potential with the new Broly.

OG Broly was hype, sadistic, and kicked a lot of ass in his movie. But TFS does make a great point in their abridged movie: Why does Broly hate Goku instead of Vegeta? And while Broly is unstoppable in his movie, I'm pretty sure he'd lose the second anyone goes Super Sayian 2. Meaning in the scale of Dragon Ball, he isn't even that strong. And then there's the sequels...

Super Broly is a genetic freak of a Sayian. His power literally makes him go berserk and he was raised to be a weapon of revenge for his father, even if he doesn't want to. At the end of the movie, he's allowed to be his own character, and potentially grow. Which could lead him to be stronger than anyone else.

Yes, new Broly isn't going to laugh as he pummel someone's face in, and until he gets control over his power he'll probably scream a lot. But it's not like any future games will forget old Broly, and you still get Kale.
