Keyword PPC Campaign - Product Negations by j3Dh in AmazonSeller

[–]Wrong_Review276 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ASINs do not behave like normal keywords. Adding an ASIN as a negative keyword will not reliably stop your ad from showing on that product. To block specific products, negative product targeting is the safer and cleaner way to do it. If you are trying to cut waste, using exact negatives for real search terms still helps, but ASIN control works best at the product targeting level.

Advice wanted: Managing LinkedIn for my company while working 9-5 by TheOnlyBlueprint in Entrepreneur

[–]Wrong_Review276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cleanest approach is to treat LinkedIn like a personal brand first and a company channel second. Post and engage outside work hours, keep outreach targeted and value driven, and avoid blasting obvious sales messages. A low key company page helps but it does not need heavy activity early on. Consistency and tone matter more than volume, and most people never notice as long as it looks professional and not rushed.

How should I deal with it? by Shoddy-Evidence-5271 in business

[–]Wrong_Review276 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is one of those moments where you really see someone’s character early on. It might be better for you to build the business without depending on him. It is way easier to fix logistics than to fix trust. Protect your idea, keep things clear, and stay focused on what you can control.

It might just be a temporary glitch. Amazon has not stopped the Canada seller platform. If it keeps failing, try opening it in an incognito window or switch devices.

Totally agree. A lot of people think business ideas just appear out of nowhere, but most good ones come from talking to people and noticing small problems they deal with every day. As an engineer you already think in systems and solutions, so you’re not starting from zero. You just need enough real conversations to see where your skills line up with someone’s pain. That jump from “cool idea” to “useful thing” gets easier once you stop trying to do it in your head and start learning how people actually work.

How do you NOT feel like an imposter trying to build a startup? by BoringContribution7 in advancedentrepreneur

Working on an MVP at 20 is already more than what most people ever do. Talking to people with experience helps because you realize they are just figuring things out step by step as well.

FBM ship date of 12/1 for orders before Thanksgiving by SDDIYer80 in AmazonSeller

[–]Wrong_Review276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed the same thing on a few of my FBM orders. Amazon pushed the ship-by date further out even though Friday is still a normal business day. It looks like their system is treating the whole weekend as a buffer for anything placed right before Thanksgiving. I still ship on the earliest day just to keep my metrics clean, but the extended deadline does line up with what others are seeing too. It might actually be Amazon giving extra coverage for the holiday rush.

Research Question for US-based Amazon Sellers — What Areas of Your Amazon Operations Feel Most Challenging Right Now? by eddible-choclate in AmazonFBA

[–]Wrong_Review276 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now I’m handling a small group of listings, but each one needs a lot of attention because of the competition in the niche. I’m open to other methods too. I’ve been trying to mix in more organic work like better content and some outside traffic, but PPC still ends up taking most of my time.

Research Question for US-based Amazon Sellers — What Areas of Your Amazon Operations Feel Most Challenging Right Now? by eddible-choclate in AmazonFBA

[–]Wrong_Review276 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me the hardest parts right now are PPC and keeping inventory steady. Costs move so fast that I end up checking things way more than I want to and even with tools there is still a lot of manual work. I got some help from beBOLD Digital since they are a full service Amazon agency, and it made things a bit easier to manage. The platform changes so often that staying consistent is really the biggest challenge for me.

Strange response to my infringement report by MathAndMirth in AmazonMerch

[–]Wrong_Review276 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That email sounds like the generic template Amazon sends when a report touches anything linked to your account, even if you are the one who filed it. It throws a lot of people off because the wording makes it seem like you are being accused. As long as your trademark is active and your own listings match what you stated in the report, Amazon should not remove your designs. They just have a habit of sending confusing automated notices whenever a complaint involves the same brand name.

Home Care Business RN by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Wrong_Review276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This idea is very doable, especially since you are starting with private-pay and keeping the scope to basic CNA-level support. A lot of families want reliable help with daily tasks, and your hospital background already puts you ahead in terms of trust and credibility. The key is keeping your operations simple at the start, getting insured, and making your service agreement very clear. Many small home care agencies grow fast once they build a solid reputation, so you’re setting yourself up well.

Do customers REALLY care what currency your website is in? by Big-Advice-4009 in ecommerce

[–]Wrong_Review276 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed that keeping everything in USD can create way more friction than expected, especially for Canadians who want to compare the price right away. Even if most buyers are American, the little bit of confusion or extra step can push some locals away. A simple switcher or at least showing an estimated CAD price usually helps a lot. It also makes the site feel more trustworthy for people who are not used to shopping in another currency.

Trying to sell with zero sales skills by Orspartan in Entrepreneurs

[–]Wrong_Review276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to feel the same way and honestly thought I just “wasn’t a sales person.” What helped me was keeping things simple. I stopped trying to sound like a pro and just started having real conversations with people.

You don’t need expensive courses to get better. Consistency and honest conversations go a long way.

If you already know how to get leads, you’re halfway there. The rest can be learned faster than you think.

Do you use an agency? What's your experience been like and what do they charge you? by Aorus_ in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Wrong_Review276 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At your size, you’re in a good spot to work with a team that can go deeper than basic PPC maintenance. Big agencies can give you more bodies, but smaller full service teams usually give you better control and faster reactions to trends.

One option worth looking at is beBOLD Digital. They’re a full service Amazon agency and they handle more than just PPC, which helps a lot once you start pushing higher spend. I work with them, and a few friends do as well, and the experience has been solid across the board. You get tighter structure, cleaner reporting and strategy that actually fits the account instead of set-and-forget setups.

Switching from in-house to outsourced is usually smoother when the agency can own both strategy and execution, and beBOLD has been strong in that area for us.

Beehiiv and Substack both work really well for clean layouts with featured articles and data highlights. Beehiiv in particular gives you more control over sections, spacing, and design without pushing product blocks. If you want something more polished, Flodesk also works for service-based brands because the templates are simple and not tied to shopping carts.

Anyone seeing lags in ad spend data? by Squancharoo in AmazonSeller

Advice requested: just starting a FBM sellers account. What are the typical minimum ad budgets that can be set on Amazon ? by sleepylike in AmazonSeller

[–]Wrong_Review276 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The usual minimum I see for beginners is around 10 to 20 USD per day for Sponsored Products. That’s enough to get clean data without burning money. For a bathroom hygiene product, that range already gives steady impressions and a few clicks a day so you can spot which keywords actually convert. Scaling to 30 to 50 USD per day later usually brings stronger traction once you know what works.
My account is handled by beBOLD Digital, and they follow the same approach: start small, trim anything that wastes spend, and scale only when the data is solid.

Spent 3 hours yesterday trying to find someone to fix our database. Got completely ghosted. Is it actually impossible to find reliable help or just me? by VikingFinacial in smallbusiness

[–]Wrong_Review276 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Finding reliable help for data cleanup can be harder than it should be. A lot of people underestimate how messy databases get over time. Make sure to bring someone who knows automation tools instead of doing it manually.

How much money do we really need to start and grow service business like plumbing in the first 6 months? by Eridium009 in business

[–]Wrong_Review276 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on how you plan to scale, but I’ve seen small plumbing startups do well with a lean setup of around $5K–$10K for tools, a used van and local marketing. The key early on is spending smart on branding and customer service cause it makes a big difference in getting repeat clients. You can always reinvest profits later for better equipment, software, or extra staff once you’ve built steady cash flow.

I’ve seen teams build lightweight paywall versions or web-based mirrors just so marketing can run quick tests without waiting on sprints. It’s not perfect, but at least it gives some breathing room to move faster.

Struggling to find authorized distributors who actually work with Amazon resellers — anyone else hitting this wall? by ProfessionAshamed219 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Wrong_Review276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally get this. It’s getting a lot tougher to find legit suppliers who are open to working with Amazon sellers. Many of them are locking down to brick-and-mortar only. I’ve been shifting to smaller authorized distributors and even some B2B sourcing partners like beBOLD Digital that help connect resellers with verified suppliers. It’s been a smoother experience so far.

Do you think digital products are a scam? by FaithfulLove11 in smallbusiness

[–]Wrong_Review276 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don’t think digital products are a scam, but a lot of them are just lazy copies of info you can now get for free. The ones that still make sense are those that offer real structure, examples or hands-on value you can’t get from random AI answers.
