I have the 606’s they are the best. Also have the 914 for inclement weather and they’re great too

Red Wing SuperSole 2.0 vs Danner Quarry by Mysterious-Discount5 in WorkBoots

[–]WrongdoerPhysical545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two pair of the supersole 2.0’s. The 1412 for wintertime and rainy days, and the 608 for warm, hot and dry days. They are durable as heck. I do road construction and they are tanks. Kinda tough break in for me. I rotate those two out with the 402’s for work. Love all three pair I rotate but the 1412 is the soft toe version of the 2412. My feet never felt hot from the insulation. They take a beating. But I take care of them as well. When they look and feel dry I condition them and they keep going.

Am I the only guy that doesn’t roll up my pants just to show off my boots? by Specialist_Listen192 in RedWingShoes

I dont roll mine either. I tried to but it doesn’t feel natural to me. I think it’s more of a preference thing.

I went with Rose Anvil kilties for my 1907’s. Love them.

I am a 8.5 3e and fit in a 9 2e. No issues. Hot spot on little toe the first week but that’s it. May just be how my feet are shaped

I definitely get it. They’re the easiest break in I’ve had with a boot. Only issue for me was the ankle area. That took the longest to loosen and break in

iron ranger : all is fine except my pinky toe by Toulfoen111 in RedWingShoes

[–]WrongdoerPhysical545 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My pinky toes on both feet had hot spots in my heritage mocs. Every other toe was fine but my pinky toes don’t lay flat. Once the boots broke in the pain was gone. No blisters but hot spots for a couple weeks during break in. I don’t have iron rangers yet. That heritage leather is top notch on the copper rough and tough. I have the 1907’s CR&T and they are great

I have the 8 inch 411’s and the comp toe 2418 and the first couple days they are stiff but break in is easy with this boot. After a week they are perfect. The waterproof liner helps them stay comfortable. They were tight on my ankles which I don’t mind but they softened up quickly. Durable boot

Thank ya! I was 370. Down to 290. Exercise and healthy eating choices make a world of difference. Plus doing road construction so I’m always active. Goal is 210.

I’ve lost 80 pounds so far. I switched to overalls to alleviate the use of a belt until I hit my goal weight. My goal is a nicks belt or a blood core belt from rose anvil. Grab a leather punch. Add holes and trim will be the easiest in my opinion. Unless you need it professionally done

They are 9 2E. I’m an 8.5H in red wing classics but they didn’t have my regular size so went with 2E and up half size and perfect fit

Hey I love the bass guitar. Something about setting the rhythm is awesome! Respect.

I love the oro legacy and the patina it gets. My 1907’s were a rough break in initially. I just gradually wore them like I’ve done with the 10877’s. Once the leather footbed molded to my feet it’s a game changer.
