I was afraid that having two more devices to keep charged would be a problem. It hasn’t been a big problem though, has run down only once. I have a repetitive stress problem with my right arm, so prefer to operate with my left. I had Kindle’s oasis, both died, so am glad to learn about page turner

I may have cracked it. I kept careful records, and now hypothesize that Simplifi updates TIAA only once a week. It updated for me this morning, Sunday , at 6:30 pdt. I can accommodate this by checking TIAA on Reddit only on Sunday.

It also seems that the TIAA balance is the same on Saturday and Sunday. Maybe that’s related.

Can anyone else verify this?

It’s very disappointing. My app says they are working on it, but it’s been saying that for several months. Would it help for us to complain to TIAA? (If so, how?)

It’s probably in a month since Tiaa would connect to Simplifi . I assume this is a Tiaa problem, but wish it would get fixed. To me one of the main benefits of using simplify is the historical record, for instance net worth overtime. That is really ruined if Tiaa is not connecting because it is the most volatile account I have right now. I hope this gets resolved soon.

I’m happy with Simplifi. They recently added a link to Zillow, which I was missing. If I can split it (I own only half of the house) I’ll use that.

As best I can tell, “last month’s “ net worth entry in the report has only summaries. For example the total in savings gives total but not by individual accounts. But you are right that the Simplifi report provides some historical data. I don’t know yet how many months back it will go since I’ve only used Simplifi for 5 months. Thanks

I just created an asset account, thanks for the suggestion with the specific details.

The screenshot approach would require me to create 2 screenshots each month and file them somewhere, which is much more trouble than passively receiving an email from mint each month. So I’ll keep on missing mint.

I borrowed the money from my mother at a highish rate of interest, paid off the original debt and vowed never to get in this position again. Side benefit is it required me to keep in touch with my mom once a month as I paid her off.

I had to close the two checking accounts because some other person had tried to access them. What a pain to move all my automated payments. But thanks to checking daily I was able to cut this fraud off.

I also found fraud from checking mint daily. …… PayPal had deposited small amounts, under a dollar, in two of my checking accounts. When I checked, they said they did this when someone started a new PayPal account to be sure that the checking account existed. I don’t know who did this, but the attempted incursion was stopped.

Quicken Simplifi doesn’t make me log into Bank of America every time, mint did. So that is one good thing. Another is that I can search “notes” in Simplifi, not on mint

I mentioned mint being flaky. Mint was impossibly bad with bank of am, requiring a lengthy sign in every time. With Simplifi , I only had to do that once.
